how are people asking for compa, kaiju, gantz etc to be there when these man haven't even been involved in the sound for two years.
I wouldn't really say the length of someones involvement in the scene is really that important at all
topmanlurka ur a hater. ur the kind of person dubstep music, system, and this forum dont need. thes guys are the NEW guys. they deserve to play at system. all of them.
bigup particle-jim.

Just let viv book whoever he's gunna book and it'll be sick

I wonder what the hell Dillinja will play at a night like that. To digress a little, What the fuck happened to Dillinja? Him and Lemon D were in that video 2007ish talking shit about the DNB scene because it was all about midrange noises and the same 2 step beat, but then nowadays he releases awful stuff. It's not like I need to say it, but compare this:
To this, his single from earlier this year:

am i the only one who actually found youngsta's set really boring? seemed like any other set he'd normally play when he clearly had the opportunity to play something a little different. boring selection and a massive disappointment.
i've been to every system and until this saturday they've been truly special. system on saturday was just another night...
Last System was brilliant, Yunx played a great mix of old and new tunes and VIVEK was on point too. Mala not playing anymore is a shame, but to be honest, both times he hasn't been there have been great. I would rather see the old school Dubstep guys play System than some of the new ones, just preference.
I'd like to see people like Pinch, Peverlist, Loefah, Kode 9, maybe Distance on a classic vibe, The Bug, Goth Trad, Cyrus, Kromestar etc. People who have been around ages but all have different styles to showcase.

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

that would be sick, seen RSD a few times and he's always been on point. on the system rig it would be summet special

should just keep it vivek and yunx. saturday was top draw.
to be fair when V.I.V.E.K booked Amit bare ppl where moaning that they didn't know who he was or that he hadn't been involved with dubstep for long enough and tbh he fucking killed it so I wouldn't really say the length of someones involvement in the scene is really that important at all
I trust V.I.V.E.K will book someone sick for the next one, I think he was just trying to get a general idea of what sorta stuff people want
Also you've overlooked all the people asking for more roots stuff
just to clear one point up. amit and klute have been following this sound from the early days at dmz. they both were at the DMZ 2nd birthday at mass in 2007. if there's anyone in the 160-170bpm sound that fits with the dubbier side of 140bpm, its amit. his production is next levels.

Life sucks; Get used² it.
I think something like this is a really good way of giving light to some of the lesser known or less discussed people in the scene. Its a virtual given that people will go, so use it as an opp to help promote people who are trying to push the scene or help it... first lot that spring to mind are the niteshade inc chaps!
I went to the first system and given that kind of exposure would really be good for the scene as tbh their tunes would destroy a dance like that. I wouldnt mind having a spin either LOL

I meant more in terms of producing/djing dubstep that he's only really come to prominence in the past year or so, I'm sure he's been following the sound for time, when he was announced to play System though the majority of people reacted by saying "who is amit" or "please no dnb at system" and other stupid shit like that
and yes Amit is most certainly a big boy producer
