^^

I have read The truce and If This is a Man, and they are indeed moving reads. Made all the more by the fact he struggled with his experience the rest of his life, and eventually took his own life.

Swaping between two books at the moment

both amazing in their own right, i'd like to spend some time in each society written about.

I'll have read all his (fiction) books once i've finished this one. Probably my favourite author. The Wasp Factory and The Crow Road are probably my favourites.

This is the 3rd book of a series of books.

1st book = The Traveler
2nd book = The Dark River

Recommended to those who enjoy books such as 1984.

Just started this. Really good so far.

Have these queued up from Christmas:

Enjoyed the first one... lady bought me the sequel.

From Uncle Bill.

Another from the lady. Not convinced it's going to be great, but probably worth a quick read.

Yeh I love a bit of Iain Banks.
I really enjoyed The Business also.
Tried to tackle his Sci-Fi which I have heard great things about but never really got into it.
