did a proper healthy shop....avocados, asparagus, rocket, baby squid, melon, mango, pineapple, capers, jalapenos, 2 huge potatoes & olives

really keen to expand my meditation....how do you know if you're doing it 100% right?

c'mon man, these guys bothered to look into it to see who's supporting this and who's not, you have anyone supporting you or we have to believe your word?
blueberries might help the brain, why not, but due to other things besides antioxidants. even our guy ornish i suppose would've written on that list "antioxidants", not just "blueberries" if that was the case. but he didn't

btw, i'm spreading that screenshot around a lot, i've seen that vid long ago but couldn't remember the guy's name, so thanks for that.

Companies don't need to take any pleasure in lowering the health of the public, profit is enough. If these products were good for you, companies would be just as happy to sell you them.... it's just simple market forces. Bad scientists create public health scare and/or "fashionable" nutrition advice, indifferent companies hijack it and produce "cool" products and bad consumers fill their boots with the new products. And so the cycle of bullshit continues...

Humans are best off eating a balanced diet, it's what we evolved to eat. Again, the common sense answer reigns supreme. Well, until someone like Aubrey de Grey tells us different and we all start extreme low-calory living for centuries.
That's the ticket. Eating a variety of food gives you everything you need. You don't need to take silly expensive pills to do something your body has evolved perfectly to do so over millions of years.

Can't resist posting this, I know it's comedy but the things they mention are real homepathic practices.

it wouldn't come as a surprise...

i'm asking you to come up with stuff exactly because i'm crediting you with the ability to put something useful on the table and you're answering to that really childish and useless and unfair

clicked randomly 4 links from the search, 2 i didn't understand scrap from, 1 says:
We show that adult neurogenesis within the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus is selectively impaired in a rat model of alcoholism, and that it can be completely prevented by the antioxidant ebselen.
and another one says:
However, administration of generic antioxidants has failed to convincingly improve performance during exhaustive exercise. One possible explanation may relate to the inability of the supplemented antioxidants to effectively eliminate excessive free radicals at the site of generation.
this is how helpful you were for someone who wants to know

Allow taking this thread off-topic. The majority of ppl on this thread wld agree it's an established view thats antioxidants eliminate free radicals from your body and the most antioxidants are in fresh fruit and veg (among other foods mentioned on this thread)...unless you can prove otherwise with a credible source.

(Also allow the rumours and 'I heard that..')

This is gunnin anyone personally just tryna keep the knowledge flowing

Out to the OP on the shopping list!

Now where are those juice/smoothie recipes?

There isn;t really a right or wrong

Read up on on 'mindful meditation' which is a good 1 to start. Also read some Ram Dass - he has a really good guide to Meditation which explains what it does and doesn't do and it really easy to read

The real challenge ( I find) is discipling urself to find time to meditate on the regs...

Peace

There's a reason homeopathy isn't used in emergencies. It doesn't do anything.

I 100% agree about M&W L not being even nearly as good as Peep Show though. Not sure there'll ever be a character better than Mark Corrigan in anything ever.
