I've only just started diving into grime and there are so many good tunes I've found, vocal and instrumental :)

Recently heard a tune by Dj Oddz called Strung Up VIP, absolute killer! Similar sort of bass sounds to what Untold is using at the min. Checked on discogs and this tune was around '04, anyone know any artists to check on a similar tip from around then? Enjoyed some Eastwoodz aswell :)

Wost thing about all this music though is finding it on CD or Digital :( Damn tragedy!

...Rant Over :)

Purple + Grime is the only way to go. My first, and perhaps only, pleasant experience with Grime (its grime, right?). Smooth business, almost Jens Buchert & Fresh Moods downtempo style.

and yes there is a propensity for brits to complain when people blow up, but i dont think this is unique to UK music, it's a national trait just as when someone goes from nobody to somebody in the US, you guys go "hell yeah!" My theory has always been it's down to the "know your place" nature of the class system, but who can say for sure.
I don't know who said it, but I always think that this quote nicely illustrates this disparity between UK and US attitude to success:

"In the US, every kid grows up being told that if they work hard enough, they can be President. In the UK, every kid grows up being told "don't be ridiculous, you'll never be Prime Minister."

Bit of a generalisation maybe, but I think it illustrates the point nicely. It's a very odd and really rather destructive character trait of the Brits.

Mix on the DL, looking forward to listening back.

Destructive? Rather, I should think that's what keeps us from being obnoxious wankers like many Americans.

I've looked about to try and get some 320's but couldnt find any anywhere.

Warriors by Alias is sick.
