Some nice melodic synths and bassline in this one!
Am looking to get it mixed and mastered properly to put out so any feedback appreciated and returned!

too many request for reviews and not enough reviewing being done imo..
it only works if we all participate guys!

@kontigobeats - stormbreaker: lovely synth sounds you got goin there man, and good job on the drums. definetly feeling this one. my advice would be to spice up the intro a bit with some pads or maybe a bit of percussion, and beef up the sub.

@blind-prophet - when will we be alone: really enjoyed this tune, drums are fresh, and melodies are captivating. nice sub also. no real pointers to give ya, would love a 320!

@dankaczmar - avicii-bromance: love the intro and the breakdowns, so captivating! good job on this tune, only opinion i have is that the wobble is a bit generic, but thats just my opinion. other than that, seems like you put some time into this one.

@heretik : that guitar is fuckin class, and you got a fat sub goin there. really relaxing, definetly something to spark up a bowl or two to! :) i'd suggest throwin some extra pads in for an atmospheric effect to compliment that guitar riff you got goin. GJ!

If I was to be commenting on this track as two different tracks then the feedback would have been pretty much nothing but good, but personally I feel that the dirtiness post-drop really wasn't necessary and you should have continued with the vibes of the introduction throughout the entire track..

@ Dots - I like the track but I would scrap that bitcrushed bass and the double time snare pattern that comes in later. You have a nice dubby vibe going on there, I would try to work on the track as that and not try to bring in the hype stuff.

@ Dankaczmar - Think Wirez nailed it mate, I love the first intro really dark (song 1), then the bit after (which didn't fit) was really melodic and even better (song 2 right there), now the drop (song 3) either work on that or scrap it. Altogether you have 3 songs right there. And that melodic bit fuck that's good (you write that yourself?) why don't you focus on that and take this a more trancy route? 3:18

@ Dignan - Big up man, I never sent you that 320, hit me up on aim :wink: , as for the track good stuff as usual, I can't really comment about the music, you got that spot on imo. I could do with a bit more "snap" in the snare and a little more mixwise but that'll come in time :)

@ UrbannerD62 - Drums are too quiet in intro, I like the vocals (maybe add some delay/increase the delay feedback), How do you make that synth on the drop btw? sounds fuckin awesome, one thing from a structure point of view. I would be put off spinning this because I struggle to see where the end of 8/16 bars are, I know that comes down to me not being a great dj but there are a lot worse out there :wink:

@ kontigobeats - Post feedback first next time, I nearly didn't bother listening because of that. You seem to have all the parts in the right places , drums sounds a little too compressed for my liking (could be the kick slamming down the compressor on the master bus though so maybe ease up on the limiter/compressor on the master) Also would it kill you to put a sub in there/turn the sub up? nice song though big up!

@ Reignz - You say you're trying to get feedback, are you giving any? I didn't read the rest of the forum so could be my bad but I always feel more inclined to give feedback when I receive some/see somebody giving somebody else feedback. As for the track it sounds cool, the snare sounds a bit distant, maybe ease up on the reverb and bring it up in the mix, The vocals seem a bit far back too maybe try sidechain compressin her to some of the synths to help her cut through a bit.

@ HeretiK - Nice vibes, I'd suggest using a second kick (that's a bit softer) for those quick bits, did you record the guitars or use samples? sounds very nice anyway, sorry I can't give any more feedback than that.

@ Deadly Habit - That first video was sounding nice, I feel the bass was a bit too low (sounds like a saw-wave when it goes too low) it does that rumbling thing that I don't like, maybe change the key to help it or use a different sound? It's a shame because I really like the track, really atmospheric and well produced

Reeeet, 8 pieces of feedback so I'd like at least a lil bit back k? I was just trying to get my drums better and then it turned into a song so I thought I may as well finish it and yeah, it's got some sounds in it that may not be pleasant but it's done now, I can go and write something deeper wooohooo

Bigup to anyone that gives me feedback,

Peace

Hey man,

Listened to the track there, heres my feedback
Really liking the intro and the beat!
Not sure about the keys there a bit too loud in the mix and the synth doesn't sound great try and change it to a rhodes or something?
The sub is spot on!
riff that drops at 1.27 is cool

Overall its a really good tune, not Dubstep but a really good tune all the same!
I favourited it

What you think of my newest?

@lowpass,

katana track: i'm not really an expert on that sorta heavy dubstep, but when it drops i think the bass shud be a bit lower in the mix, coz at the moment it doesnt feel like a 'drop' as such, kind of like theres a bassline stuck ontop of what was already happening. i dont know how much sense that makes lol :/ I think the intro builds nicely, drums are well programmed, though maybe a touch more reverb on the snare (it could end up clashing with the white noise you already have though)

ecstasy prison: really nice intro :D nice vocal sample you got there. i much prefer this sorta track to the other one (though thats just my personal taste). dont really have much to say bout this one, i really like it :)

@max4beats

ever living: really nice tune man :) nice and chilled, not much to say except i like it :) kicks possibly a tad loud? the bassline and the lead melody work really well together :) vocal samples sound sick too. maybe a few frequency clashes around 1:48 when that organ/piano sound comes in

@Lowpass: Well I tend to give feedback to those who give feedback , feel the same way about it, but in the WIP threat I've been overlooked quite a few times giving away quite some feedback, but OK.

Your track: I liked it, listened to it on my speakers but kinda felt that the real subbass you're supposed to feel/experience, was kinda missing, the main bassline is still awesome so my suggestion is to raise volume on your sub.

@Max4Beats: Track is good, feels like the rest of your sounds is kinda drowning under the sound of your drums, try to EQ them to have 'em stand out better in your mix. Also at 3.00 you bring in a wobble, like you're starting a whole new track. I would either leave it out or bring it in way earlier so it's really a part of the whole track, rather than a finishing touch to your song.

Posting this once more , hope to get some more feedback :)

@reignz: I like the track as a whole, some sharper sounds may be cool. Other than that as a remix i like it!!

@Max4Beats: Like the feel to this track! does sound like could do with a tempo change and kick in to some harder sounds but meh thats just my pref.

First track posting on here, some good feedback would be cool, still progressing.

interesting feedback guys cheers! just what I needed, well I sampled the original which is the intro loop parts, but I guess I can see what everyone is talking about being too much of a change in contrast. And I thought I had finished it! Will look into this and revaluate it:D

@lowpass

big tune dude, thoroughly enjoyed it.
drums could do with some added 'weight' to them to give the track just that lil' bit of extra push i think it needs imo.

agree with you on there being some unpleasant sounds, but that high synth is really really sick, def make use of that sound again in future!

although this isn't particularly my thing, it def smashes a tonne of the stuff ive heard in that similar style.
hell i'd sign it when it was 100% if i had the label :wink:

ups man.
