Any1 got pcdj scratch v2?? Coz i recently got it snd for some unknown reason every now and then when i load up a tune as i click with my mouse i get this loud distort sound for a split second. the same distirt sound happens when i click web pages quite a lot if i'm playing music on windows media player. I am sure its not anythin to do with my soundcard as i only recently got it to use pcdj scratch v2. Any1 know why it could be doing that? But ye i think serato pcdj scratch and all the others are great coz like others have said it gives you much more choice when mixing and yes many new doors open every time i use it

SUPPORT VINYL!
SERATO AND ALL THAT OTHER STUFF IS SOOO WACK!
YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE A C.DJAY WITH C.D.S OR GET YOUR IPOD AND THOSE IPOD MIXERS AND GO MASH UP YOUR TOWN.
KIDS THESE DAYS CAN JUST CLICK AND GET A DUB XCLUSIVE OFF THE INTERNET.
MAYBE PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO LUG THEIR AMO AROUND LIKE A REAL SOLDIERS DO;THEY'D RATHER WALK AROUND WITH A LAPTOP.
WOULD IT WORK IN A SOUNDCLASH?
OF COURSE NOT....CAUSE SOUNDCLASHES ARE ABOUT DUBPLATES.
I mean it can only make sense in this day and age to keep up with technology and get one of those things.
But I feel we should respect and keep this art form alive.
I JUST DON'T GET WHY YOU would GET A BLANK PLATE AND HOOK IT UP TO YOUR LAPTOP....IS IT FOR THE VINYL FEEL?
YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET VINYL!
It's like if all the graffiti artists started to use a digital canvas to make a statement.
DUBSTEP is HAAARD! UNDERNEATH TECHNOLOGY!
In a way it is like how HARDCORE PUNK OBLITERATED THE WORLD IN THE EARLY 80'S.A BIG THREAT TO THE EARS OF MEN.
IT'S VERY D.I.Y. and you've got legions of scenes popping up now.
You've got to understand that buying tunes OFF the internet IS killing your local record stores;FORCING YOU TO BUY OVER SEAS.
I've accepted the fact that INTERNET DIGGING is the only way to justify the the high expense.
YOU'VE GOT TO PAY THE COST TO BE THE BOSS!!
DUBSTEP IS GETTING BIG AND IT WOULD'NT BE IF IT WERE'NT FOR THE INTERNET.
ONLINE DIGGING IS ESSENTIAL...BUT GET YOURSELF A VINYL COPY AND SUPPORT THE ART.
IT HELPS THE ARTISTS AS WELL.
BIG UP ALL VINYL BRIGADIERS AND THE MANY BROKEN BACK PAINS THAT COME WIFF IT.
WELL WORTH THE PAIN.
BASS AND LOVE
PURE BOOM HI-FI

SHATAP.

Serato's great. Opens up a lot more avenues for potential, from a DJ's perspective, than vinyl does. But also keeps the aesthetic of wax for those who can't let go. (Personally I love using Serato with CDJ's. It's the perfect combo.)
