I scored the vinyl box set and have only listened to one of the 12"s.....I'm not sure what it was but man it is brilliant. Really fresh exciting music from Shackleton.

I saw someone mentioning mp3s coming with the boxset??? Is this true? If so how do you go about downloading it. I'd love to plonk the 12"s on the iPod as well as.

The only thing which is slightly dissapointing is that Quiet Hour is cd rather than vinyl. Hopefully it'll get a vinyl release that will fit perfectly in the box in the near future!

Are these downloads for folk who have purchased the vinyl or are those the mp3s for sale?

You can buy the mp3s here, or you get them for free if you bought the LP box set from Surus.

Just arrived in the post!

Not listened yet but, has anyone else who bought the vinyl boxset read the letter to Clara yet? Very interesting. Wonder what the story behind this is/where did it come from.

There's etchings in each side of the vinyl as well that make up a short passage.

The whole package is just amazing.

Ahw man I cant bloody wait to listen to this. Im currently away on a holiday so it'll be waiting for me when I get home next friday.

About that letter to Clara, I believe that that was written by Vengeance Tenfold to his daughter who apparently lives in the year 2100-something. Not sure what to expect of that but should be good

the letter is amazing, fuck sake, the whole first disc is otherwordly, the second disc is Shackleton at his most melodic to date. Lush stuff, along with Actress the second contender for album of the year surely.
