Unglaublich aber wahr! Es gibt noch Größen im Techno Zirkus denen ihr Debüt im Harry Klein noch bevor steht. KIKI ist so eine Harry Klein Jungfrau, obwohl ihn eine beinahe 20 jährige Beziehung mit elektronischer Musik verbindet war der Weg nach München bis heute nie der ins Harry Klein. Umso mehr freuen wir uns den Bptich Control Künstler endlich in unseren bescheidenen Hallen begrüßen zu dürfen. Joakim Ijäs in Helsinki geboren ist im Herzen ein Berliner und zieht 1994 mit dem Erfahrungsschatz im Gepäck, den Residencys im Tempo und Smile Club Helsinki vermitteln, in die frisch vereinte deutsche Hauptstadt. Vom heutigen Weltstadtflair ist damals wenig zu spüren, die Wohnungen sind groß und billig und der Raum für eigene Ideen und Inspirationen mindestens genauso. Der Ruf als Energiebündel hinter den Decks eilt ihm voraus. Er selbst sagt es wäre wie Magie und dass er egal wie Jetlagged oder Müde, sobald die Plattenteller in Reichweite und die tanzende Menge vor sich, die Power spürt und abgeht.

Seiner Musik merkt man die finnische Heimat an, eine Klarheit und Kühle die skandinavisch anmutet. Trotzdem finden faszinierende Vocals im souligen Gewand ihren Platz und geben dem ganzen eine wunderbare Melodiösität. Fesselnd von der ersten Sekunde brechen KIKIS Sets über einen herein. Hypnotischer Groove, effekttechnische Ereignisse das was man eben hören will wenn man die Stunden der Nacht lieber auf der Tanzfläche als in der Ecke beim Plaudern verbringt. Geplaudert und gewispert wird höchstens in der Musik und auch das zieht an einem vorbei und endet in einem hypnotischen Groove.
