I seriously dislike how he has sacked colleagues for daring to question him.

I seriously dislike how he is personally suppressing other information they want released because it doesn't fit HIS agenda.

I'm deeply suspicious of his award from the Rothschild owned -The Economist.

I'm deeply suspicious of the leaks considering they contain nothing of any real world-changing value.

I'm deeply suspicious that they are releasing lists of "US sites of special interest" for apparently no valid reason - except perhaps to play into the hands of those who wish to push for more censorship to protect those "interests".

I'm deeply suspicious of a "Private" in Iraq getting his hands on top level Embassy documents from other countries.

I'm deeply suspicious that Israel knew BEFORE the leaks that there was nothing in them that they needed to worry about.

I'm deeply suspicious that MSM news outlets refused to touch the "ClimateGate" emails on principle because it was "Stolen property" but appear to have forgotten those principles completely for Assange's "Leaks"

Most of all I'm completely suspicious about the MSM suddenly taking such a high interest in this one "Leak" site when there have been other sites and journalists doing the same thing for decades with next to no MSM coverage at all.

Depends how long it takes before Assange gets taken out. I'm curious as to what in it, but it's probably not going to be a huge revelation (like the war logs and the cables). I really wish people would just shut the fuck up about this stuff. It's the Streisand effect in full force.

Firstly, this is fallacious from guilt by association. And the closest thing they've done to "cozying" up to each other was saying how the leaks could help bring some peace to the middle east, especially regarding Iran (src)

So he doesn't believe everything you believe? I used to be a truther as well, but now realize that people take it to impossible extremes. People will go to the great investigative lengths of watching loose change or zeitgeist and assume they are an expert on the subject when there is still much debate to be had. It's beyond a doubt that the official story is full of holes, and i'm absolutely positive assange feels the same way. But the movement has become bastardized so much from ignorant fanatics looking for a cause. Regardless, just because someone doesn't have the same radical views as you doesn't automatically make them a CIA agent.

You're missing the point of this. This isn't meant as a direct attack to anybody. What it is doing is changing the perception of the pubic and opening them up to information that was never given much press before. However, this is a specific case where the leaks did directly change the world.

This whole ordeal is ultimately a battle for the internet and what it can be used for. U.S. government officials are fighting against this and ultimately for censorship of the internet (Clinton for example). That particular leak shows that the role of the diplomat is less that of the negotiator, and more of the intelligence agent. There are other things you can take from it as well, but that would distort the point.

The mainstream media re-hashed the government's anti-wikileak rhetoric and to this day condemn it on a daily basis. How is wikileaks all of a sudden responsible for the actions of any media outlets other than it's contacts at the 5 or 6 newspapers it works with?
