@kidstange At 1:15 and some other places the synth sounds kinda loud/awkward tuning?? other than that I'm really likin' it. :W:

ohhh there!.. funny thing is someone suggested a change right there to go into the break. If i recall correctly they implied it was like 2 different songs mashed together. So i made the last bar a a tad higher to end there. I can see how it may sound bad if more people agree ill drop it back down to its normal position on the roll. thanks

For your update on your tune sounding better very original just keep tweakn it some more have some breathing room for everything else the gurgle is a slightly to much perhaps cleaning that up a little but thats just imo keep at it

@ObsidiaMusic damn good!!! that panning sound gets me everytime :4:

@ObsidiaMusic: Nice skills mate. Mix is tight. Not much i could criticize really. Maybe go a little more crazy
with the drums at times? Solid production overall!

@alexvont12: Hmm, not really feeling that intro mate, it's a bit too long, to stay interesting for me personally.
The drop isn't my cup of tea. I'm not sure if you intentionally went for that lo-fi feel, but i don't really like it.
At least your drums should be more upfront to give the sound some swag. Sorry mate, not feeling it.

@3za: I like the synths in the intro. Your drums sit nice in the mix. I couldn't quite get into the drop i'm afraid,
it's a bit too "static" for me. I dig some of the minimal sounds.

This is a VIP of a track i made a while ago. Would love some feedback :D

@TRaffikz love the intro and build up, the main melody is nice and gritty :)

@ObsidiaMusic - i like the strings but feel the heavy wobble could be a bit deeper? maybe just my speakers

@alexvont12 - some nice ideas but i dont think it really kicked off, i was always waiting for something to happen maybe i missed the point!

anyway heres mine, after i mucked up my first post and broke the rules i went back and listened to my tune again and got my head somewhat around glitching and thought it sounded pretty good!

Enjoyed this a lot, the bass is huge without being obscene, (not many people are able to get this balance right) Drums sound lush, those hats youve got are lovely. My only minor gripe being I would perhaps like to have seen a little more done with the vocals.

I'm liking the dark vibes of the intro, but the atmospheric noise you've got going on is a little too much though, try equing out some of the mud. The drop is awesome, the rhythm of your drums is really nice too. I like the change up in the bass and the pad that comes in but maybe you need to do a little more to keep it interesting. I really liked this

This is a new minimal track that i have made. The mixdown is lacking but apart from that I am very pleased with it.

@LTUK - I love it. Really nice synths in there, good bass hits and the subtlety of some of your sounds are great. The only thing I can think of to change is maybe try it 5 BPM slower.

@HomeNoiseRecord - Pretty cool sounding, really nuts. I like the Haka in there too, sounds wicked. I can't really think of anything that really needs changing apart from maybe toning down the compression a bit, it's pretty constant. Nice overall.

@TRaffikz - I really like the feel of the track and the sounds you made, although I think some could be a bit more crunchy - like a phlegmy cough :). Really well produced, the mix is nice. Would like to hear a little more of the hi-hats. Wicked track over all man.

This is a track I've been messing with on/off for about a month. Finally got it to a place I'm reasonably happy with. Let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot man :W: Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Awesome feedback, (disclaimer: I never usually blame Soundcloud for tracks sounding dodgy as I expect the low quality from the minute I upload) the bass sound isn't quite as 'sharp' in the 320kbps of the track, Soundcloud bought out quite a lot of fizz/fuzz in the highs of the bass sound, but I'm glad to hear that it only sounds strange to my ears :)

I can appreciate your gripe with the vocals, they are just a repeated phrase throughout the track and I can understand that it gets boring if you focus on them. My only defence would be to say that I have the track moving around the vocals as opposed to the vocal leading and alternating, but having a natural lead as repetitive as that I suppose could get on your neck!

Thanks mate, will return some feedback on your Soundcloud! :h:

Really? That's a worry. Has anyone else noticed this? I bounce out 320 mp3 tests using Audacity and LAME. I've not noticed any difference between these tests and the Soundcloud versions.

@wirez: Multidivide : Digging the female vocal sample. Love the intro, it led me to believe something bigger was going to come but the over chill vibe of the track won me over in the end. Great track. Tracks like this, that make me wish I would stop being lazy and start djing already so I could drop bangers like this in a set. The ambient pads are tight too at the middle of the track when the percussion drops.

@jakedubber: Nice use of the sample before the drop. Love the stab synths in the middle of the track. Nice bass modulation for the second part to change things up and also like the percussion change at 2:09. Great how you came back to the original beat with the slowed down bass too.

@LTUK: Wow, intensely minimal. Not the biggest fan of the minimal style but I got a friend who would totally dig this. That being said, great percussion throughout the track. Sounds real tight and crisp. What I assume are reversed pads sound pretty cool too.

@HomeNoiseRecord: The break down with the sample in the middle is nice with the lean back bass. At first I wasn't feeling the organy type synth bass lead but it is something different. Good change of synth at the end 2 min mark.

@kidstrange: some cool things in this track like at 53 seconds in to 1:02. Only thing I would suggest is putting that melody(1:37) on top of the bass at points and maybe adding a progression to the bassline. But doing that would change the feel of the track drastically so it all depends what your going for.

I heard all the complaints about the white noise snare in my track so I changed it to a more normal sounding snare to prevent any further damage to listeners ears.

I also got to say it was cool having kaiori breathe comment on my track as he has become my favorite artist that I have discovered from this forum. Always enjoying hearing your work.

@TRaffikz - Heavy tune mate, mix sounds good. Interesting synth work

@nibzdub - Really like the wobble in this, drums sound tight and have an interesting pattern going on. You need to turn up the sub though. Lot of potential if the sub was there, quite similar to my own style.

@LTUK - Really feeling the groove in this one. Feels a little dry though, good spice it up with a bit more reverb, Really like the reverse effect on the synth aswell. Nice chill tune.

@wirez - Always a joy to listen to one of your tunes, great vocals and pads. Really like the organ type chords in the background, and the synth work that comes in. Could maybe push the sub a little harder? Great track.

New one of mine, would love some feedback

I've notice that too. Iv'e uploaded a few 320's that sound fine in iTunes/production software but on Soundcloud the bass seems not as full.

I'm was kinda going for a distorted, lo-fi feel but I think it got overdone. And thanks for mentioning the drums, it made me realize I sent some to the wrong mixer track.

@sinisterbeats - I love the intro and when the bass drops it blends so nicely! Loving the overall vibes. Not very eventful but I really like it.

@pain - Muuuuuucccchhh better with the snare. Great vocals that blend nicely with the rest of the song.

@jakedubber - Great bass drop. The bass is definitely unique.. the more you hear it the better it sounds. Pretty damn good man.

Another update.. prolly won't get any better than this :/ vv

Hey man!

Wicked, glad you know that you were feeling all of the elements!! Haha yeh man it's a pretty chilled one, maybe I'll get somebody to do a harder remix in the future if the label allows it and there's enough demand! Tell me about it man, I don't DJ myself either... It's a New Years resolution for me for this year though!

Glad you mentioned that breakdown too man, I like that bit :D

Will drop some feedback on your Soundcloud! :4:

Yep, that sounds right... I haven't thought that through. I've only been thinking about downloads, not streams.

Thinking about it, I've never actually never listened to the streaming versions of my own stuff beyond checking it works.

Phoxache/ Nice mixdown, nice chords n bass synth. This belonds on the menu screen of a grittiy british film or summat lol. Shank or summat like dat. nice beat switchup big tune downloaded.

Traffikz/ bass synths in here are sweet, its nasty. Mix down is pretty sweet. The track does not go anywhere for me was hoping it would open up into something a bit more but the production is good man, nice work.

Home noise/ where is your perc? vocal samples are a bit much. mixdown needs some work and the structure is a bit flat. Synths are a bit simple as well, would look at layering them up a bit. defo bring your percussion forward in the track. sounds like your trying to run before you can walk on the bassline bud. need to nail the basics first. Keep at it

LTUK/ im loving some more of this minimal stuff at the moment. Perc is nice and sharp, i would still maybe open them up a bit though. Synth is nice sound and chords but would probably layer it with another warm synth just to fill it out a bit. melodies are cool mate, i can see where you were going with this. good stuff.

jakedubber/ the bass synth is cool man, like the metalic sound. well grimey. Would like to hear some more percussion in this. Glitchyness is cool after the break i was expecting something else to open out into the track but the melodies dont really progress, percussion switch up is nice. Just feels like a good mix that just aint quite finished. just was left asking for more at the end. pretty good mix tho.

Pain/ Vocals are a nice sample but they dont quite sound on key, and slip on and off time through out the track. Seem a bit placed on top of the track imo, maybe bring them down to the track a bit. Sub is cool and melodies are good. Tune sounds quite epic. Other than a couple of teeny things this is a pretty hot track mate. Would have been nice to hear some of those trancey synths filter up for a last break off the vox. :-)
Any chance of a remix pack please :-P???

Sinister/ perc is sexy mate, nice groove to the track. might have used some slightly more shuffly perc in there as well. Bass synth is subtle works well with the spookyness.
Like this mate, good stuff. sounds like something i already know lol. in a good way though :-)

Blindside is my new one, check it out let me know what you think.

I got a Katy perry remix on my sc page i wouldnt mind you checking out either, its locked to sc due to copyright. Just visit its page :-)
