The Mass is a great venue, but I totally missed what I loved most about DMZ: The sound/the B A S S . The kind that hits you in the chest like a shockwave.

A booming sound system with no deffinition or presure in the bass requires DJs to play more "anthems" and less of the dubby stuff that relies on heavy bass. There's no way "Horror Show" would get the same response at Mass as it did at 3rd Bass.

The ideal solution would be to bring up the sound system from downstairs and put the bass on the stage and the high range on the balcony. Or just get some extra equipment.

The extra people all pay tickets, so there must be extra £££ to invest in the sound. Kind of keep it real and give the new people an oportunity to meditate on the weight of the bass?

If it's not possible to get that power in there, then maybe a completely new venue?
