Quick couple of things people - I understand some of you lot really wanted this release a month/6 weeks ago when it was first scheduled to land. Myself and LX One were told by Tempa originally that it would drop on the last week of September, more likely start of October. The tunes got mastered in mid August, and with the production process taking anything between 4-6 weeks depending on how busy the plant is - early October sounded most likely. The reason it's taken another month/5 weeks from the planned release date is Tempa didn't have enough stock of their 12" house bags, so we had to wait for them to be printed & shipped, as they're produced abroad.

I sincerely apologize for the continued delay - and after speaking to Tempa yesterday I have been assured that the Vinyl is now ready to roll and will released on Monday 14th November. I hope you guys can appreciate myself and LX One wanted this tune out late September/early October just like you lot did!

Now this question is to the people having a good old whinge on the last couple of pages saying that the release has lost its freshness, or been ruined by this delay. Firstly, it's only been put back 5/6 weeks! Has 'Hunted' really aged that badly in 40 days? What I've concluded from this is maybe 'Hunted' has been knocking around a bit too long on Dubplate, and some of you have simply heard it too many times on Youngsta's show/Distance's CD. So, in future when I finish a track for Youngsta I'll make sure he doesn't play it on Rinse until it's been mastered. Makes sense when you think about it - can't believe it's took me so long to work that out!

Peace,

SP.

[PS. Just giving 'Cool Runnings' a better mixdown before I put it up, will be available for free download tomorrow.]

Thanks for the update, thats also good news that is confirmed coming the 14th, i think when i said thats its kinda lost its freshness is because of it being played on most youngsta show, Its a shame though cos it really is quite a amazing track and is defo still one of the releases of the year maybe when i get the fully mastered vinyl which im sure will sound amazing it may make the tune that bit better give it a new life, big up for coming on here to say all this looking forward to the release
also big up for the cool runnings free download :Q:

big up sp, always nice to get a response from you guys.
and, while i'll also admit i've heard youngsta batter them over the last few month, believe both sides will sound fresh to a lot of people (especially here stateside). :h:

Exactly......also worth remembering that some of the people whinging about it on here are the listeners who are super on it and listen to the youngsta show every week etc..... a lot of people listen to dubstep a bit more casually...
I'd still buy this plate if it took another six months to come out, future classic!
big up sp & lx

Man I honestly don't even care. I fucking love your music and I'm just thankful to have the digital. Personally I like 'Oh my Gosh' a tad more than Hunted. But I listen to both on the way to the gym to get me pumped the fuck up in the weightroom. Please never stop making tunes man, your sound is very unique and most of all distinct. I can tell an SP tune from a mile away. Love every single tune you've ever put out. Taiko Dub still makes my pants get tigher every time I hear it.

Been rinsing this digitally for a week or so now... Juno allowed me to download it before it came out! Glitch in the system I suppose. Anyway, love both sides!
