So the new one on Juno is proper? Saw it earlier but didn't want to cop until I was sure.

Someone care to explain why this is such a big thing? im not a dj so i don't really have a clue why a few seconds missing from the start affects things.

Both tunes are amazing by the way

you need the first few beats at least of a track so you can cue it and drop it into the mix. if you knew how many were missing you could work around it though.

You can, its really easy and i think its people just being picky

yea it is easy to work around, 2nd drop is not tho

i bought my copy from sister ray in ldn, i live in liverpool
if i could be arsed i would email and get an exchange but bringing the track in on the next few beats isn't difficult once you're used to it

Why on earth should the 2nd one be a problem if you write the number of missing beats on the sleeve and start it off a bit late?

do you really know, what you're talking about?
double dropping is hard enough with a tune that has so much space in the break (no kick, no snare, no hi hats). and as already stated the 2nd drop is COMPLETELY out of time, not just one full beat shifted.

it's 1 beat out, not a bar a beat, so even if you did work it out how do you think the mix would sound before the drop...

Haven't read the whole thread - still waitin' for my 12". Was kinda stuck on the idea that there was simply a few seconds missing from the intro, didn't hear about the literally *missing* beat right before the second drop.
