well that's still based on the assumption that he actually made the scary monsters ep himself.
the later stuff, yeah i believe that's him. he probably learned a lot of stuff during the time at mau5trap and it's no coincidence that the first releases after that ep had a serious dip in production quality.
so maybe he's actually a really good producer NOW but it's not because he worked hard, it's because he got discovered and turned into this. like some guy who gets bitten by a radioactive spider, sure he's got superpowers now but he hasn't done shit to earn them.

All you closed minded pricks are are DUMB AS FUCK. Skrillex earned his shiit whether you like it or not. Talent, Skill, wtvr you wanna call it he's paved his path and made a name for himself. His productions are actually very good. A lot of the melodies and structures to his tunes that he comes up with most of you would NEVER be able to do. You don't have to like Skrillex, you damn sure don't have to listen to him, but you should RESPECT him becuz he's done things that no dj/"dubstep" producer has ever done. Just because YOU don't like his music, doesn't mean I, or even your mum doesn't Big ups to Skrillex for opening the door for many more dj's/producers in the future!

It contains music that has influences from UK Garage, an offshoot from US House that emerged in the late 90's, Dub music, a genre that grew out of reggae, and has a focus less on vocals, and more on drum and bass, Techno, House, and even more Metal based tunes.
