Like how Romney gave his 'success' speech for the day BEFORE the Ohio results had been confirmed

Meh, Ohio is kind of a surprise (as far as vote count), didnt expect anything less from super conservative Bible Thumping states like Ten. and Oklahoma. Santorum wont have a shot in hell when the northeast starts voting.

These guys have been gaining some popularity and ground lately. Quite a challenge especially for being extremely independent with some fairly 'extreme' positions in comparison to everyone else, I'm surprised. A lot of support being spread from Occupy locations. They got the presidential and vice presidential nomination by their party in October.

The hardliner red states (AKA the guns and God states) are pretty much givens for Santorum, so im pretty sure Romney didnt lose any sleep over it. Once California and New York get into the mix (where Republicans have conservative backgrounds but are more liberal on social issues) I dont see it being close.

Rick Santorum Drops Out Of Presidential Race

Post by pkay » Tue Apr 10, 2012 7:59 pm

Congrats Obama. Romney is going to be jokingly easy to take out. Gengrich and Santorum already did all the work for him. "His own party doesnt have faith in him" is all he has to say.

GG Obama

Santorum is an awful human being.

If Jefferson, Madison and Taft were still alive they would be ashamed that their warnings of mixing religion and politics had fallen on ignorant ears.

In my opinion (and nothing personal to anyone here if they are religious and I'm not willing to get into a debate about it) religion has no place in politics and the evidence of what happens when they mix are in the news every day, no matter how it's worded.

Anyway, on a lighter note, anyone see Dan Savages campaign for re-defining Santorum to mean "the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex."? Absolute gold.

For a while, it was the top hit when you googled Santorum :D

That and his comments on JFK's views about separation of church and state (JFK was for it) being sickening to him...

Seriously dude? Seriously?

I hate them both but I'd much rather have Romney than Santorum as president. Romney is a businessman who changes his opinions with the wind and won't do anything drastic, Santorum is an actual complete nutjob.

Still hope to god Obama wins though.
