sounds like there's an extra bar or something before the drop
theres something fucked up with the press, impossible to mix in
Was about to post this, so it's everyone who struggles with it right ?
I don't think it's a fucked up press, if you listen to mala's XLR8R mix he cuts out the tune before for the pause. I think it's just coki being an awkward bastard!

I was thinking about that. I wonder if he just decided no one was ever going to double drop that tune

i just try and listen to the stuff... no particular percussion byt, sometimes just the synths/pads/fx in intro.. i use snare to line them up perfect if it's halfstep beat... sounds proper shit when you have two snares hitting each at different time

if u can't mix the goat stare there is no hope - from the very beginning of that track it's easy to keep it in time and it drops perfectly everytime...
perhaps i have an advantage cos i play the drums and a couple of other instruments in real life?

seriously though, it just feels that most people aren't concerned with learning how music works - just what bangers to mix together and hope it goes alright...

Do I even need to explain why? I guess you must exclusively mix 140 bangers with the snares always on the third beat

lol this...I don't know about you freaks that mix using snares to match up your beats I mean wtf??

It's easiest to pull off a mix if you match up the yois and wubs.

Mix by the back beat, count the implied beat of each song and match those up.

I'm happy with a mix when two songs sound like one song.
