One of my housemate's friends got herself a ticket painting bins this year!

Is anyone else planning on trying to make Youngsta at Block Nine btw? I think we might...
Yup. Have to be hot on it though as thursday stuff is allways rammed

Yeah, word... I'm gonna play it by the crowds a bit but it'd be nice to get in if there's not too much crush... I'm normally pretty happy just being on site on Weds and Thurs tbh. Get me to the Brothers Bar! 8)

Overnight forecasts looking pretty promising... MetCheck can eat a dick.

Haha Im getting all my weather info via you!
My first year on a thursday we ended up at this place called the bad idea party.

Some dude was eyeing people up like a security guy near this huge metal fence. He says to us to go through.
We walk and it just looks like the back of a tent area and it lead to another wall.
So we are stood there confused looking about and we see this big red phone box.
One of our group got in, only to descover the other side of the phone box wall was a door to a path, to a bridge to the party!!

Never found this! The secret freakouts are my favourite bits these days... we found this bizarre little drinking spot off the railway line last year; couldn't work out whether it was supposed to be crew only or if the path had been intentionally set up to look 'out of bounds'...

I ended up in some weird little places like this last time as well, best bit of the festival imo

I'm getting way too obsessive about the weather. Forecast is brightening all the time.

Luckily there are some BIG fucking nerds on the Internet practising arch-futility in number crunching exercises and making pretty pictures to keep my nerves at bay.

Ooooh, so they've moved Arcadia then?! Could hopefully dampen the crush to get into The Common/SE Corner...

Seems a bit close to Other though!

Niiiiiice! Stonebridge often has some good things booked - it's worth keeping an eye on the free papers if they're running for daily lineups and changes; often get someone huge turning up with very little notice!

I think we might be gone by this time though; tossing up between Sunday night and Monday morning as we've got to get ourselves to Heathrow on Mon! :i:

Atlanta and then North Carolina - gotta meet the parents! (I hope my brain's ok... )

Definitely coming along for some flatwarming-presystem-preglasto-hype! Probably need to get away at a civalisedish time as I've got one more Saturday to finish a project before I fuck the fuck off for TWO WEEKS. 8)

BBC reporting NO RAIN still.

Weather Nerd JACKONE from NetWeather says "Bring your suncream and sunglasses as it may well be a mostly dry festival, especially to start, perhaps hire those wellies as you may be able to get your money back on unused goods."

MetCheck still forecasting 0.1mm each day, but that's because they are and always have been a bunch of stnuc.

I'm contemplating buying new wellies just to really guarantee it, but this is looking like one HELL of a good weekend in the British countryside! 8)

I'm on my normal number... got some spare batteries for my phone charged and ready to go. With any luck it'll last if I keep most of the stuff that actually makes it a smartphone turned off!
