"Hard rain" was a low point for me...
"Phone booth" wasn't that great either...

Yup, it's a great book indeed and I think the film was simply 'meh'. Neither one or the other.

Shonky - for all out bizarreness, have you (or anyone else) seen Freddy Got Fingered (Tom Green)?

Crazy film. Never seen anything like it and I wont even attempt to describe it. It's not particularly great but it made me laugh and cringe lots!

that freddy got fingered was bizarre. i can't help thinking he was just taking the piss out of whoever it was that gave him the budget for a film.

Sounds like my sort of thing. I actually find a lot of stuff that people don't regard as particularly great far more interesting than half the shit they do.
Hmm....

Being a simpleton, I like films that are pretty straight forward and preferably based on reality or are slightly plausible.

There's a whole list of films I could cite but they would be ones I dislike and not really worthy of being considered a 'worst' film.
wtf, eternal sunshine is a fuckin amazing film, blew me away. i'd just come out of a messy breakup and so that film just appealed to me on so many levels. masterpiece.
and i also think children of men is amazing and cannot comprehend how it made it's way into a 'worst film' thread. i think people lost the point of this thread a while ago. this should be about films that have no redeeming features whatsoever, i mean excruciatingly bad, not things you didn't like for one reason or another. so ye, to summarise, children of men rocks.

It isn't that interesting/gratifying slagging off certified shite like Batman and Robin though.

The people I watched Children of Men with thought it was great too and I respect their opinion. But they're wrong. So very very wrong.

Iam Legend?

especially the opening scene where he's driving a pristine 2007 red mustang in a nyc of ruins. wtf? I swear people think everything Will Smith touches is gold.

The Kingdom

I swear I'll never go to the movies again after seeing this

some muhammed jihadists blow people up, a hodge podge group of totally unconvincing cia goons are sent to take over the Saudi investigations,
The "keepin it real" jamie Fox, full of comedic blackitude, some know it all southern white dude, Jennifer Gardner, who gives a fuck, and some other white guy who you wish would just die off..

american heros kill all da bad guys without getting scratched. fuck off!

I thought Children of Men was superb.

Totally agree with how good the action sequences were.

Ending kind of sucked.. But conclusive endings suck even worse than open-ended ones.

And even I Am Legend wasn't too bad I don't think... It wasn't a great movie at all, but it was entertaining enough for me. Maybe i'm easily amused. But it isn't worst movie material...

Now Hellboy, that shit was the worst movie of all time. The worst fuck up of all comic to movie fuck ups

Agreed. Everyone else seems to have loved the film, but i thought it was pretty boring.
