Maxim - Scheming (Zed Bias Remix)

Absolutely adore this tune, it's perfect on so many levels. Although all this is pretty much just early dubstep to me, always been more drawn to this sound than some of the more one-dimensional stuff that comes and goes out of fashion.

Agreed. Like not to do formulaic dubstep remixes of middling r'n'b tunes with high production values just for the cash

On second thought, why not ? :deephouse party:

trust me, mj cole knows ALL about the sub

he just didn't let on that he knew all of the time

KCA - Spirit (Brotherhood Dub mix)

and it's not dark g or 2step but I cannot stop listening to George Morel - Lets Groove at the mo. Anyone for a 'recommend house and garage tunes' thread?

ok ok... white label question. I even went and dug this out RIGHT NOW.

This has always been one of my fave older 12's. I've had this for years. WHO was behind this? Details?

Overdose - Unknown Territory (white label) 12"

has a huge tune on one side, breakstep banger, insane bass rush.. the build in the breakdown, with the sample throughout "Keep steppin it, keep steppin it.... " "Keep step"

The other side is more mellow, subdued dubstep break, sound badly pressed compared to the flip. Either way, LOVE this 12".

I'd also like to recommend this, an early dissection of 2step via a breakcore jungle legend, and its hella dark, and hella jumpy. Just a tad bit noisy, as expected. Ruff.
