I don't understand why romania aren't having more of a go against Holland, hopefully it will be a better 2nd half

woohoo holland beats romania, i thought the romanians (TRG) couldve put some more effort into it if they really wanted to win. Mutu looked like he was there all alone..
Watched Russia - Sweden tonight.. Russia is looking very very good - couple mistakes due to inexperience perhaps (very young team), but very inventive and technically good! .. holland - russia in the semis. interestinggg...

I was really impressed with Russia last night, they played some of the best football I’ve seen this tournament. The difference Arshavin made was marked, he is great at finding space and makes the team tick. He reminds me a little of Hleb, but moves the ball quicker and is more of a goal threat. He’ll be a good signing for someone this summer.

Russia also showed a real spirit of adventure and are unrecognisable from the team so convincingly defeated by Spain in the first game. The game with Holland is set up to be the match of the tournament so far and is not going to be a stroll for Holland as many were predicting earlier.

russia were great weren't they?

who are we feeling in the battle of south lambeth road (excuse plug for mine and my mates' football blog, http://humblefootball.blogspot.com/2008 ... -road.html)

we watched germany austria with the germans (see link for vids), who were lots of fun - might hit vauxhall portuguese style this time.

Good game, tbf the germans were the better team. Portugal need a centre forward and to defend better.

sorry that game was shit considering there were five goals. and bollock's goal was clearly a foul - he shunted ferreira in the back like the fifteen year old hookers he spends his money on
