Not like the days of the Dedbeat raves in Hemsby...the Ceephax Acid cassette tape party was pretty memorable

As bleak as Hemsby was, i'm gonna miss it....[/quote]

Haha aye deadbeat was good much more leniant than Bloc I reckon. I've got some bad memory's of Great Yarmouth too though so a change of venue is welcomed.

mate i've been to shitloads of vintage shops round brick lane, charity shops in south london, can't find fuck all appropriate. i'll be looking silly whatever i end up wearing haha.

dedbeat was a fucking quaity festival. i went in 2004- highlights were the breakdancing battles in the queen vic, def tex (norfolk champions- huge respect) followed by amp fiddler, the dub on the sunday too.

i remember chatting shit to alex smoke for ages about dubstep whilst loef and pokes was on. i'd skanked myslef out the hour before with youngsta. after their set i was up at the bar with em and wanted to say "big up, i'm a dmz regular" but i'd completely lost my voice from shouting all weekend (and salivia bongs). 4linehaiku spent most of sunday afternoon taking the piss haha. getting HYYYYPE about this now

Anyone that went last year? What were the drink prices like?

They say "pub prices" but I'm not too sure about that one..

Yeah, I know. We will! :)

Just a weird feeling for me to enjoy music without a drink in my hand. Maybe I need help?

from the bloc forums, thought some of you might like it.........
Something to get you a little more excited... as if you needed it...

I've done a little mix, featuring loads of the artists playing at BLOC.

There are a few obvious gaps, no FSOL, Carl Craig and loads loads more, but in the end it came down to what fitted, and what I could find on online shops.

Enjoy Smile

Anyone got set times? Someone was kind to post them up here in advance of the festival last year.

Someone leaked it somewhere, but it was removed before it could circulate well enough.
