just seen something that emphasised that 90% of music discussion is massively irritating, I hate it (stuff about genres/ trends not talk of new releases, recommendations, appreciations - thats the good stuff)

Agree to some extent, but if you get a group of people that know their stuff or have been around for a while talking about where music might go or change, then it can be pretty interesting.

Yeah most def, thats why I reserved 10% for the people that know what they are talking about/ interesting people. I guess its the negative sentiment, trend identifying type stuff (almost any talk about 'trap' for instance) by clueless people that is annoying. or anything negative really, that isnt well backed up.
