@geddupnoise didnt expect thaaaaaat haha i am always afraif to give mixing tipss cause i am still learning to but imo the snare pops out to mush in the mainmix bssdrum otherwise to much in the background so i see that it is very experimental but a good mix would make the drop more surprising

@kikaruu like the atmosphere you create throughout the intro really nice floating subbass only thing you could add is a catchy melody after the second "drop"

@kungpowmace very nice base for a track you got here only work on the main volume and bring the drums more in the front bassdrum has a nice heavy bottom maybe just add some crusher to some sounds or a exciter to give it hearing in the mix

@nftfhx fucking heavy sounds heavy bassdrum really cripsy bass dont know just finish it haha

started some more experimental sound still very early wip but somehow i liked it so far

@kikaruu
i think i get it man, so tie everything in together, right? so that the drums will compliment the synths rather than just sitting behind it and it'll make everything sound more defined
good thinking on the pitch shifting and as for volumes, like i said i haven't really mixed it yet so i'm sure i'll get a suitable level for it when i get to it
really nice work on the remixs btw they're cool man, i followed:)
thanks for all the help bro!:)

@budspencertron - really like it. gets a bit tiring after a while. try some actual note progression. but i think the slow, reverse effect things great. theres not much top on anything. actually, scrap that, i just got to the other drop. snare could still do with more treble. sounds very compressed and white noisey. ha. but yeah, really sick.

@kikaruu - intros a bit long. like, the whole progression of adding stuff could just be scrapped and have a more interesting intro. snare doesnt really fit in the mix either. pops out a lot, and even though theres delay, each hit sounds so similar. when it gets going its pretty good. also, the drops lacking something. like a harder hitting kick or something just to make the first bass note sound poweful you know?

@nfthx - haaaaaaa. from the intro i though it was gonna be some purple joker-y thing. u seem to have the idea behind this type of music though. compress the fuck out of everything. i dunno what to say really, its all down to taste with this stuff. i dont really rate the drum pattern right before the drop. bit too weird for a track like this. (for me, anyway). also, your kick sounds a bit over compressed. or distorted somewhere along the lines.

edit: @darkdubz - seriously? 3 one line feedbacks. 2 of which say that soundcloud doesnt work? :lol:

heres mine...

@DarkDubz

I would get rid of the "bass" vocal in your signature tune SpeySide.

@ kikaruu - the intro sounds a bit messy althou i can see what you are trying to achieve the highs a just a bit much. the whole tune is a bit miss matched tbh doesnt sit to well. doesnt flow. but your bass sounds are nice i would just work on trying to make bass sounds flow onto each other if ya know what i mean? i know what i mean, but im really high at the moment so .... if you going for that skrillex sound keep doing what ya doing.

@ Budspencerton - Nice work bro, it does feel like your levels are fighting each other to be heard, main bass sound is phat as fuck bro, i like it, maybe play around with you eq's on ya bass lines and try cut some of the harsher freq's out, but solid tune bro, look forward to the finished product.

@wizeguy - Nice deep vibe going on there, i would try beef that snare up a lil bit, the rebverb on it sounds good thou.. the track gets a bit repetitive. the synth fit well. i asume you will be working on the intro>??

@Samkablaam: I like the percussion quite a bit. Really groovy, extended, and those echoed kicks are lush~ I like how you brought back the synth sweeps around 2:38; it's a nice touch. I also get the feeling that your avatar matches the song perfectly. Really, excellent work; I don't know how you could improve this any further. (Also, thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to incorporate it. :))

@darkdubz: Are you referring to the track that I had in my sig? (This one?) I didn't mean for that to be reviewed (4 months old shame and all that); hence, I just switched it with something current. But yeah, I agree, that song isn't very good/polished. It's two tunes I wanted to combine, in a sort of changeup between styles. Didn't work perfectly, as you can see. ;_;

@budspencerton: Aye, mate. :W: I'd also suggest a slight hicut on your main bass to try and get rid of a bit of the buzz/crackle. It sounds gritty and tight, but it clashes with the hats a bit. Maybe lower the reverbed pulses a bit, as they seem a bit distracting from your grime. Freaking awesome bass sound, though. Like stuff getting sucked up into a vortex. Just awesome.

@darkdubz - yea intro was just sorta thrown together real quick and have not done any automation or anything yet so got a fair bit of work left. cheers for feedback. track in your sig ain't really my thing but it sounds very well produced and i could see lots of people liking it, not keen on the vocal samples, they do fit the track but i'm sure you could find some better ones?... just my opinion tho

@nftfhx - thanks, again i don't really listen to this kinda thing so it's quite difficult giving feedback, i liked the gameboy sorta sounds they are really cool. maybe the kick could do with a tiny lil bit more high end? not sure tho its late and just listening through dj headphones

@ kikaruu - cheers man i will sort the hats out, yours sound really good as do all your drums in your track. generally very chilled i like it, nothing bad to say
*talking about the track you posted a couple pages back

darkdubz wrote:@stefevr tune sounds big bro, really digging your mixing, only thing i would sugest is to turn the sub down a lil bit.

@brero great remix but it needs more drums, nice vibe.

@circus jam nice tune bro, i like the bass sound even though its nothing new and very repetitive, it still gets my head moving, nice groove

@ samkablaam the intro sounds a bit harsh on the ears, not much of a build up to the drop, you need to work on your sub bass as it doesn't really come thou the mix very well. i'm not to keen on the synth that kicks in at 1.15 sounds very bland, at 2.15 the sub bass is fine. not my type of tune. defiantly an original sound. i like your percussion but think you could do more with the kick and snare.
