so there's a trainer at my gym who I see on a daily basis and he can barely make eye contact with me. Even when I fucked my back right in front of him he just looked away, smirked and walked off. This doesn't really bother me I just ignore him and think he's an arrogant cock. Anyway, yesterday my wife booked a private room at the gym to do one of those solo classes and he was in there. She told him that she had the room booked but was happy to share if he needed to be there. He responded "only if you don't mind male nudity", whipped his shirt off and started to flex his pectorals and do the titty dance. From what I understand he made some other comments and tried to hit on her.

Do I be a pussy and complain to gym management about inappropriate behaviour or go and drop that fuck and risk my membership being terminated?

Do you think that you could take him in a fight?

I'd tell him to fuck off and if that doesn't work then drop his ass.

I'm starting this program tomorrow, the intermediate one. Pure hypertrophy training. I'll do it 6 days per week.

Anyone else tried this guy's programs?

The advanced is pretty much identical to my current routine. Excluding the Hyperextensions and Romanians. I do sumos instead

Mad respect for that, just did my first day, it's exhausting but gives an intense pump. Though I'm assuming it's because I'm coming from 5x5 with 2-5 minutes of rest, which is a different animal. Sucks I had to drop from 34 kgs for my dumbell benches to 30 haha.

The first 2 weeks of doing this type of routine 6 times per week will take some adjustment.

Torture and I want to die.

I'm on my third day, day 4 tomorrow going back to the chest/push. Legs today was seriously rough, man. Probably because I conditioned myself to lift heavily and give myself rest for 5x5 sets. Going to failure and resting 90 seconds for 4 sets is brutal.

I won't know how effective this routine will be for growth for me until like a month or two from now, but I think 'shocking' my body into an opposite type of workout like this will make me grow just fine by itself.

How long you been on your routine for?

Since February. I dropped my weight considerably and tried it as more of a conditioning program and have had amazing results from it. I'm going back to 5x5 but I'll seriously try this again in another 3 months.

It takes a lot of motivation when your sets are to failure. It's so easy to give up when deep down you've still got another 5 reps in you.

Yeah alternating is key I think.

I sometimes don't know if I'm truly going to failure on some exercises, tbh. "Am I exhausted or just giving up?" I try to continue until I've done a couple of half reps to make sure.

What type of 5x5 are you gonna be doing?

Does it get more bearable when you get used to it? Or does it stay torture like this?

It's more 5x5 for compounds, rows and clean/press. Calfs, bis, tris, traps and core are always 15x3

 no, it pretty much sucks the whole time.

Sounds good. A routine you constructed yourself? I am familiar with the concept.
