Listen here, SON. That is not the way it works.
You turn in a TUNE A WEEK, or bud there gets all his fuzzy little animal entities, hunts you down, no matter your country in Europa, and suffocates you in fuzziness.
Titans have fallen to such attacks.
A TUNE A WEEK. No excuses.

Thanks buddy boy.
Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
@YILAN: liking this, mixdown sounds on point to me though i'm not sure about the main snare, feel like it could be harder hitting, maybe just me
i like the way you structured it, doesn't sound too same-y and keeps it interesting throughout, however, maybe i'd suggest bringing in another element at some point, maybe somethin acting as a counterpoint to your vocal-ish synth
@Bud
midnight hour: feeling the 80's (or maybe it's 90's mmmm) vibes, would be interested if you want to expand on how you treated the vocals
not much feedback aside from that, sounds good, could end less abruptly
deep wobble: sick bassline, i'm not sure about the snare tho, feels like you could layer a clap or something to make it snappier
liking the daft punk-ish vocoder-like synth, though it kinda just feels like aimless jamming from a song structure standpoint, not sure if that makes sense
@norway
abba: is this vaporwave? i'm not sure how i feel about this, the beginning kinda sounds like a directionless-mess, but by the end of it (after 1:26) i found myself liking it (as in: "ah yeah, now thats a groove")
i'd say skip the unnecessary noodling (meaning the part where it just sounds like you jamming on an MPC trying to find a cool pattern), work a bit on structuring it and thats tri angle material
(ps: i see its not private and the likeliness of you reworking it is probably low, but you mention its a WIP so hope is permitted)
zap zone: feeling the break at the beginning then it gets all weird and doesn't really work does it? seriously tho, i see potential for something a la daedelus with the strings/brass sample you got here?
like it sort of reminds me of his "denies the day's demise" album, you just need to put a shitload of work into structuring it i guess (thats the easy part right?)

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
the normal vocals i really didnt do much to the acapella tiny bit of reverb and phaser and eqfaultier wrote: @Bud

the vocoderpart is several saws in a synth the synth doesnt really matter just make it full and here i turned glide on so it it makes this funny moving sound when i hit higher notes
i added some ableton white noise at the end of the vocoder channel to give it some highend too.
then i sended the signal into the ableton vocoder turned the knobs around :3 but i like to raise the release a bit like 240 ms and give it not too many bands around 16-28 or so
and after the vocoder i added another white noise just tiny bit some eq and de esser (still bit sharp but the de esser gets rid of alot) and some mild reverb at the end.

and yeah the deepwobble was an real old one but i changed the sounds and shit so it has an old structure but i see some potential in this one thats why i shared it here so i guess i have to go into lego mode

how does this work again
Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
You submit a TUNE A WEEK. Depending on who TUNA!MASTER is, now it is Bud, thankfully, you PM your track on Saturday night, which is his Sunday night. He posts up all the Tunes, then listen and crit that week. Which reminds me!
This is not, like, the feedback thread or dubs thread, whatever that forum/thread is. The point here is to submit a TUNE (or more, looking at you BUD) A WEEK. Every week. This is like a rodeo. How long can you stay on the horse? Some people have treated this like the feedback thread, they've come and gone. The TUNA!ers are here week in and week out cranking tracks.
Now you're a professional, maybe another sc is in order?

@yilan
dig the intro beat builds up bit like the prodigy :3
nice 808 groove and melody hm maybe tiny bit tube on the 808?
yeah like this little flanger/phaser?! break
haha dunno i couldnt listen to it as a song personally but def could see this in context with something
def would like to see a video or some mecha action to this haha
really think some snare interaction could add sth like breathing snare shit high snare lowsnare especially in the end section
@defaultuzr
starglass
