don't think i've ever posted mine in here - just a DJing set up. first shit quality pics are in my old place before the under lights blew, and second one's better quality but doesn't show a lot but was taken for someone wanting to see how the shelves worked. need to take some better ones really but can't be arsed

ignore the dust...

Did you get the MKII's? or the original MR5's? I had to take a pair of Yamaha HS50ms back earlier this week that were faulty and now deciding whether to get the Mackies or the KRK6's.

It's the 2010 MR5. That's all I know :corndance:

Niiiice. I don't know how long the MKII's have been out actually. They are little dearer, about $50 more. I found the low end hyped on the originals. They are still sexy though :corndance:

I've been looking for a pair of monitors for ages, but couldn't afford anything. Then I saw these on sale for $99 each on musiciansfriend and jumped on them haha
The reviews are overwhelmingly positive too, so I'm really glad

Sounds like a bargain. In the same boat really, I have been looking at getting on the monitor train for three years now. Finally took the plunge on the Yamahas but they had a static white noise coming from the tweeter. I mix at low volumes at night mostly so wasn't ideal. Luckily they acknowledged it was a fault and got a refund. Leaning towards the KRK 6's now. Hope all goes well with the Mackies :W:

My MIDI keyboard is broken (The two higher B and C keys fell of), so I'm thinking about getting a new, better one.
Would like something with more keys and I've been looking in to buying this one:

Any suggestions? :D

From the looks of what? The one I linked or the one I have?
I bought the one I have for one reason, it was the cheapest and I didn't care at all of the quality since I didn't have no money to buy a better one, I just wanted something to play with.

Thinking of getting these limited grey ones for $20 more from DV. Seems a bit indulgent paying extra for a colour though

20 for the pair isn't so bad, 20 per, ooohhh not working for me

Will admit, the grey is nicer than the black/yellow, imo.
