@ lightshapers: sounds great, man! loving the drop & the vocals.

@ code zero: love the agressive drop. could do with a bit of variation though ...

@ X hertz: love the breakdown! don't go all out on the panning though ;)

@ taste tester: wonderful track. could use a vocal sample (or quote or something) people can 'hold on to' if you know what i mean. doesn't have to be much.

as for my track: (second attempt, hope it works this time)

@code Zero- Nice implementation of the sonar and light tower bell in torpedo, kind of makes you think of a drowning body rising up and landing on the shore.

@sovereignty- One of the strangest songs I've ever heard. Don't really know what else to say about that.

@Juju_man- Loving the wobbles and sfx.

@lightshapers- dude....When I Fall is off the hook! Can't wait till you get it finished, although id still by it now.

@Masuka- This is some baby makin music. Haven't heard the original, but this is dope

@pumice- I agree with code zero, unfortunatley. You could probably get away with zips, zaps, and claps for the first few bars but eventually you should put some drums in.

@x-hertz- Nice and busy latin rythm, the transition is dope too. Lol at the disco toms at 2:38.

@teste Tester- Badass tune man, it would be the soundtrack to a tank rollin through egypt

So here is the second version of this song for you guys. I know it's still busy btw, but at least you can hear the synth.

@siderealdb-really like this tune - got a bit of a reso quality to it. it is sounding a bit busy, but I kinda like that sound sometimes, and your pulling it off with good hooks and stuff - listening on crappy headphones so cant hear any problems with production just now all the synths are fitting in the soundstage real nice, good work!!
@Masuka-bass in the intro could stand being a touch louder, but the sound itself is pretty sweet, good choice of vocal samples and nice choppin' work on it, not a fan of the bass sound, it's a bit too chunky, but thats just personal taste matter, its a good hook and works nice!!

here's my latest track, still needs a proper master, enjoy

@GRAYSKALE- Sweet tune man, wobbles sound similar to Downlinks track "gamma ray." I'm still trying to figure out how to do that. In whole the track is awesome, I imagine a space launch when I hear it for some reason. Thanks for the comment as well, I listen to reso daily, so that's probably where you found it in there.

So here's two tracks that I made a while ago, but I think people might enjoy. The first one is of one of my childhood crushes Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I haven't really mixed it as of yet, but it might be revisited. The second tune is more of a dnb song with Rihanna's vocals.

@GRAYSKALE- I meant how your wobble zipped around the stereo field, unless you had one in mono and another in stereo with a wide spread. It still sounded like one wobbler though and I don't think anyone would have the patience to automate those transitions. Normally I've found it difficult to have my wobbles with any continuity if I have multiple patches. Yours sounded fluid, and that's what I was referring to.

ahhh, i see what you mean, it's all about making sure youve got the frequencies right so I set the basses (roughly) to similar frequency bands and then it's a case of simply getting the levels right, there's a really good topic in the production bible page about gain structuring, also i read a good bit somewhere, cant remember where, about how different frequencies are percieved at different volumes, so like it's easier to hear midrange sounds than bas sosunds, so if you want a bassey bass to flow into a midrange one then its not just a case of setting them to hit the same db level but you might even need to pump up the juice on the bass one so they have a kinda seemless flow. but yeah couldnt recomend reading that article enough dude, my production increased tenfold when i read it, besides your mixing sound really good on your tracks, I recon you'd do it no problem!!

listening on tha lappy at tha mo... so i wont even comment on levels & eq!!chea

vdb-- interesting intro, dropped nice... but i thought it didnt mesh very well. nice ideas overall but reckon it needs some more percussion, the shakers aren't enough.

siderealdb--wwmaster- abit too much vocals for this track, let the sound breathe abit, that last drop is to sudden after that screamy part, nice tune

greyscale-- mean intro bro, like how ya change it up & that freq sweep with the drums is chea,
no complaints!

masuka-- i like... nice & chill, just need abit more work with those wobs i reckon.. not quite doing it

taste tester-- sounds abit too jumbled at the start ay. couldn't enjoy this at all....throw it!

this is the final mixdown of this track, im working on an extended version, but it wont be getting posted up here... so tell me what ya think of this condensed version!!!chea

@chazzleman - feelin the second one, although i think when the wobble comes in it disrupts the vibe of the track, you should keep em minimal like you did at the start.

@chazzleman, good use of sounds in the first one, but i agree with province, i dont think the wobble' bass really fits the rest of the track on that 2nd one.
@province, some pretty different sounds in these tracks, feels like im in a computer game! ha im feeling it!

posted this earlier but only got one response (thanks to them though!) so just seeing if anyone else had any thoughts, needs a better mixdown but apart from that id say its pretty finished! thanks!

@DjPsychonaut Thanks alot for the input man, your opinion will be taken in consideration!

@Difference HELL YEAH. Had a single perc beaker bottom-- OG ones before the new splashguards, im pretty sure most double perc beakers are like that too. Also have 2 4-arm pillbottle ac's, SG's the dankest.

@Siderealdb That's probably the best compliment i could ask for. thanks for listening!

Some real nice tracks going on, here's some feedback

@Masuka - Liking the sub bass on this one, sounds nice and beefy. the mid range bass seems to be be taking away some of the impact and snap off the snare tho, maybe just a bit of eq to help it pop a bit more, sounds good tho, feeling it.

@Siderealdb - building my machine - sounds tighter than it dd before, can hear all of the different sounds better now. There is still alot going on, but kinda like it now the sounds are more defined. really like your snare.

@Greyskale - Liking the bass sound, all seems to fit well together. Maybe some more sub bass, or some more eq on the mid range bass to allow it to come through in the mix more. nice track overall

@vdbproductions - Wicked bass noise on the first 16 bars of the drop, really feeling it man. Not too sure about the bass on the next 16 tho, think you could have used the first bass noise more and changed up the rhythm/melody of it to give it a different feel or tweek the other bass noise, just seemed to lose its impact when the bass changed. It could just be because I'm really feeling that first bass sound tho, ha. Iagree with the comment about the shakers tho, think it needs some more percussion to fill out the drums and help give them more of a rhythm. Few tweaks and could be a proper TUNE!

@Sirus - Nice track, only thing I would say is I think the drums could do with some more variation, other than that, it sounds tight.

@Venture - Really like the bass in this track, got a really nice sound to it. Some real nice wobbles and variation going on, proper feeling the bass melody part at 1 min 3 secs, its fresh! Think the drums need a bit more variation tho, seemed very militant, just some hi hat variations or some shakers to help it bounce more. Also I think the snare could sound more epic, its got a nice sound to it already, just think if it had a bit more of a snap to it and some more reverb to give it a proper epic sound, it would just finish it off, wicked tune!

@province - Only got to listen to the first track from the 3 you posted, proper feeling it tho man, sound tight! Got a wicked flow to it, nothing really to comment on. Sounds fresh!

Internet, has started to take ages loading stuff, so will have to leave at that for today, hope the feedback helps peeps!
