My turntables have annoying ground loops I can't eliminate, so I can't rip records.
And on my old computer, I only had a mic in so it was impossible to hook up a mixer to rip something.
I can imagine other people having problems like this too, and downloading a rip or a web version is the only solution then.
I mean, you've already paid for the music, so what's the problem then?
For all I know it's not illegal to download a digital version for free from the internet if you have a legit physical copy you paid for.
