here's a tip from me (it's what i'd do if i still had logic)
do some really dirty nasty wobble, like excision or whatever as long as it's low and growly. then add logic's ringmodulator. really slow rate, don't overdo it. if used subtly it can turn an otherwise normal sound into something putrid and disgusting (in a good sense). did that about a year ago and it sounded a bit like someone throwing up pitched down and distorted :4:

i'm sure you can use it on other sounds as well to give them some edge, it's a really nice tool if you're careful.

320kbps MP3 if you want to give it a free download, other then that 192kbps mp3 will be fine :)

For those saying put me down for this, the sign up did end last Wednesday, but if people are ok with it (forum majority) i'll let you join in.

I have only had 1 entry so far out of 30, so if you've made your track, send it to me via pm.

All tracks have to be sent by 5pm GMT tomorrow (Wednesday) so I can get them uploaded ready for voting the next day.

Trains have been cancelled round my way, so i can spend today working on mine instead of cramming it all in tomorrow

Nice tip, cheers man. Got some pretty nice results actually messing around with the roswell ringer in logics pedalboard, see what you mean about demzzzz bare filthy sounds (ha). Not quite right for the way my tracks turning out so far though.

Can't wait to hear all these, I assume the tracks will be uploaded anonymously as per usual to avoid bias?

I Think this is going to be an interesting one, because a lot of the entrants produce deeper, more chilled out tunes (sick nonetheless). Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I mean I'm at a bit of an advantage because I enjoy listening to "bro" and its what I generally produce, but I'm sure there's gonna be some bangers tomorrow.

I would be up for a similar sort of thing in the future, but with a deeper, pure dub theme, reckon it would be interesting to compare. Anyone else?

Finished and submitted, although I found it well difficult writing proper agro stuff. Also spent way too long mastering it.

Im done, but I forgot the standard brostep mixdown formula. Can anyone help me...

I think it goes something like this;

Dont bother with any eq + compress every channel with 20db gain reduction + rape master with limiter + bounce a 32 + upload to youtube = Brostep superstar

2 keyboards 1 computer
