again, thats not what im talking about, as i've said, over and over, self defence is completely justified, i tried to defend myself, but there were 2 much older guys and one kid, not much i could do
its the mentality of 'shoot first ask later' that say svpreme was demonstrating, that marauding bravado which more often than not ends in tears for everyone
in that situation, they used a crowbar to do my front door, everyone else in the house locked themselves in their room (wise move except that...) we didnt hear a fucking thing so next thing i know the bathroom door is open, some kid with a bally on goes 'thats him' and 2 masked/hooded men run in and start layin into me, all i could do was try n hold em off and get the girl out of the way
say i'd heard em, and picked something up, and ran downstairs to catch them with a crowbar trying to do my door, and gone for them, what are the most likely results?? yeh i might have got one of em with one shot, likelihood is though that i get clocked aswell, then overpowered, then smashed in with a crowbar/whatever i was carrying - im not fucking superman!

im not an idiot, i know people who are really not very nice people, and i know people who are very nice people, i fall somewhere in the middle as it goes, and i know that there are types of people who when confronted in certain situations do not lose... im not about to go marauding around if some guy wants to try and break into my house - i'll call the police, i'll tell them i've done it, i'll tell em im armed and they should fuck off and i'll defend myself if i have to but the last thing im gona do is charge into a situation like John McClane against however many people, armed with whatever they might have on the principle that "i've got to be a MAN!'' - thats how idiots get killed.
