Aye...well i'd be wearing what I'll be taking up to the fort. So will have an extra layer!
It's our first time to Outlook, and Croatia! Coming all the way from Dubai, so we have no idea about the weather (as we only have one season all year round - Heat).

Any advice on what we should def bring along, and what the weather is like during the day, evening and night? And are we allowed to carry backpacks into the arenas/boats so we dont need to go back to the apartments?

Thanks in advance. PEeace.

During the day is proper hot but not sure if it's as hot as Dubai. So it's t-shirt and shorts weather. Night time, you can pass for shorts and t-shirt but I'd advise keeping a jumper handy as it can get a wee bit chilly. Or it did at least last year, especially when your heading back to sleep at 6/7am.

You may need to purchase a jumper or two
Backpacks (not burgans) are fine but probably will be searched.

pretty easy to secure on the site/camping, but beware of undercover cops. Croatian mate of us got caught smoking on the festival and had to spend a night in jail.
You'll get fined a couple of hundreds of euros if they catch you with anything. Croatia is a non-eu country and have some pretty strict anti-drug policy.
Also some heavy drug-checks at the border so don't bother smuggling anything. Not work the risk.

Weather in croatia around september can get a bit chilly indeed, last year it only rained from sundaynight till tuesday (so the festival was over allready, we were lucky i guess). But on the boats at night u better get a sweater on. Although in the fort it's way too hot, with all the ppl aroudn you and u probably getting more drunk every hour, u'll never get cold without a sweater in the fort at night.

Even in the morning it wasnt really chilly and the sunrise is wonderfull!

Was us leaving the fort going down that small road and the sun just rising above that hill.

And as u can see, around 3 oclock at night, almost no one wearing sweaters :

Concerning illegal substances, beware, i advise to not bring anything along too croatia.. Croatia is not yet part of the eu so they will search you when you enter the country, wether it is by bus, car or plane. We almost got searched last year but we didnt had anything along, although we we're scared, we showed really confident, they believed us and just let us pass along, but i dont think everyone would be that lucky.

At the festival self there is plenty too find, last year before i went too outlook i got to know a guy in croatia, we became friends and he provided us with the greens too.. It wasnt that good of stuff but it was allright to smoke and we were happy to smoke our spliffs at the fort, boat and beach.
You just have to be carefull for the undercover cops, but they are so out of bound that u recognize them immediately and if u spot one, just make sure they dont see u do any drugs. Otherwise they will search you and you'll end up paying a big fine or even wind up in jail.

It should hopefully be around 28-30C in the daytime with very few clouds. Should get fairly good breezes by the beach. The boat parties don't stop moving so it'll be comparatively cooler. Also, if it's the same boats as last year, only half the deck will be covered (the bit closest to the DJs and soundsystem). The boats have 2 decks so you can always go downstairs to cool down if needed (the bar is also downstairs). Assuming they haven't accidentally oversold the boats again.

Night time is quite variable but if you move around continuously you won't need a jumper. Might be worth bringing something lightand longsleeved (maybe with a hood) for the walk home.

It hasn't rained apart from the last night of the festival for the last couple years, so it should be fairly safe from that point of view.

It might be worth bringing a scarf or light mask just in case they haven't managed to sort out the dust issues.

They're about twice as old as anyone there and twice as big. They stick out like a sore thumb with bells, whistles and neon signs.

I got a medi ticket... my 2 mates didn't. I'm debating going on the boat on my lonesome or selling it on.
