my point was going to be that the objectification of humanity is the problem with antlions hatred. humanity is not an object, it is a vast, ever growing ever changing... thing, of billionsof beautifully unique yet similar people. to objectify is to simplify. if you simplify a diamond you get a square, and who loves a square?

perceptual imbalance

like i said earlier in the thread, maintaining a balance is important for happiness

if you aren't happy with your perception of humanity, it isn't because of what is going on outside, its because you cant balance your perception of what is going on outside - you can look at all the bad that humans have been guilty of, but you cannot see the good which balances it out

just like depression is supposedly due to chemical imbalance, perceptual imbalance can cause irrational feelings towards whatever is being perceived or in this case conceived... so i suppose it'd be a conceptual imbalance?

the concept of 'humanity' should contain each and every action, capability, possibility etc. which humans are able - unspeakable cruelty balanced with unspeakable kindness

if you see one without the other you suffer from a conceptual, perceptual imbalance, and the word 'suffer' is important there, hate is pain
