really long shot given the awful description, but does anyone know what one of hijak's tunes was? it might've been him, had some strong horns and a constant rolling drumbeat, and a deep (heavily eq'ed, maybe slowed down a bit) male vocal coming in and saying two or three words every 16 bars or so.

Yeah City Cycle is a personal- That bassline just goes right through u.
Respect to HORSEPOWER tho- THIS COUNTRY NEEDS MORE 5AM JUNGLE LESSONS.
S C R E W F A C E has to be one of the most warped tunes in latter-day music history. Twisted my mind.
Out to everyone who made it down early for my set, all the other DJs who brought it and the DMZ camp for putting this all on.

Top fucking night man, although the non-smoking made it a little weird. I thought jon rust and yunx were spectacular. Horespower was ILL, well nice to hear jungle styles at the end of the night. I nearly blew my head apart when 3kout came on! Outside on the lawn afterwards was jokes, some pale faces out there hah ha. Out to everyone commenting on my shirt, shouts to pk, dan who i met on the tube, 4linehaiku, deci, whistla, boomie, bishop.

just about managed to scrape this financially, it had to be done.
Rusty warmed up neatly, some 4/4 steppy business aswell..
Hijak and LD urkled, love that Lightening remix still,
Chef & Walsh- the fucking shock out that occured when Kromestar- Darth Soul dropped, my days
Joe Nice brang the vibe nice, DMZ & Loefah, good to hear boiler suit, and Coki merked- did my ears deceive me or was there a Spongebob remix
?
Hatcha and yunx- some showerman selection...
Horsepower on a jungle flex, well by that time i was knackered but skanked thru it till 6..
I think i had 2 cigs the whole time, and got away with a few ninja zoots in there
but the lack of smokers gave more room to shock out..
Big up the usual suspects.. too many to name...
big up Poax reppin some Stink Like Sock business!
MACABRE UNIT/ STINK LIKE SOCK

I'm home -- FINALLY !
Well -- actually, i got home yesterday afternoon, but i've been running around and sleeping (sleep -- imagine that) all evening.
another night for the history books....plain and simple. I'm so proud to be involved in this community -- outside of my girlfriend, dubstep is my other true love.
shouts out to everyone that i met -- old friends and new.
shouts out to the djs/producers -- we all do it because we love it.
Big up to everyone that showed up on saturday night. There's no dance without you !
UPDATE:
Yes -- that was Conference Part II.
Yes -- that Clouds tune is sick -- both Clouds tunes that i rinsed.
City Cycle is filthy good.
The second drop in Jah Power Dub.....one of the biggest ever. Thanks to everyone that said "Oooooo" when the bass hit !
until next time !
