screenprinted this for my man Matt Loomis (he drew the tentacles) for the 'Hit the Decks' exhibit that's been travelling around. Last I checked it was at Subliminal Projects in LA. Not sure where now...




the trick is that you don't screen directly on the board. it's nearly impossible with two different curves, unless you have some seriously specialized equipment. i screened onto some special material that i cut out by hand with a razor blade (he wanted the rest to be the natural wood) and then applied that to the board. after a nice clear coat it completely seamless and you cant tell... thanks btw.gotc wrote:How did you screenprint around the corners?
