Wrote a long thing, (got deleted) about how there's tons of exceptional Dubstep made since wut that has also redefined the sound yet again, ruffhouse anyone? There's no question DJ Youngsta's Rinse.FM show on Mondays I'd the corner stone of the sound. Always discovering new tunes there, Yunx rinse14 cd is still a favorite, and puts allstars8 to shame, IMO. I know everyone here loves Kryptic Minds, for hood reason too, I've got a metalheads single their DNB shit is some serious Tear Out, rip the fucking dancefloor to pieces, no mercy Ina rave. Anyone ever seen them live during the metalheads years? I wonder what their shows were like. Can't Sleep is one of the best Dubstep albums ever, and Badman is an exceptional anthem!

So yea still loads of killer Dubstep, though I have no stake in the preservation of any one strain of the sound, as a DJ , you just come to terms with the big picture, it all mixes, you can have an all inclusive set with a wide range of styles, but it's got to flow, songs need to be grouped together and BPMs change gradually of the entirety of the set.

Unless your Paris Hilton, or DJ Barbie, no offense to barbie.
The video of her "DJing" is maybe the best video I've ever seen!

The worst I've seen so far was some dude trainwrecking a techno tune into Roska's Squark into Marka then back into techno. Trying to cover all areas of bass music :6:

Was more referring to the bit about covering all areas of bass music.

Anyway...

Loefah - Horror Show was a shotgun blast to anything but halfstep in dubstep for many years. Discuss

Tbh, if you spin Marka at +8 and 33RPM, it does fit pretty well with a lot of 130BPM stuff.

On the trap thing: People in the dubstep/bass music scene are heralding it like some new invention. But here in the ATL we've been making that shit for years.
