to be fair elbows album is amazing plus its not as if they just churned out some music and won, they've been working together for 17 years and deserve it...

however I still would have been much happier to see Burial win it....



did anyone from hyperdub turn up?

I've heard the album couple of times, didn't rate it too much. It is quite grand in it's arrangements I guess, if a bit miserable. It's not generic indie pop, but not particularly innovative. Good if you like that kind of thing.

I knew Burial wouldn't win it but it would of been nice for him to turn up, he could of done some strange stage show while having the track playing or something, just anything what makes it looked like he was there even if he didn't wanna show his identity live on TV.., not like hes on tour or anything.


Big ups the Elbow though, well deserved.

then i heard Elbow and that swag tune at the end, it was a Royal slap in the face.
