Kahn dropped the remix of ishan sounds namkha tonight! it was sick, cant wait for the release. Also ive heard it twice now, a dubplate of thief in the law with some guys vocals on it, idk if will ever see the light of day, but it exists.

yeah like i get that he's trying to do this live show effect and with all the lights, smoke warrior queen/flowdan it does look fucking cool but it has no flow if you wanna just dance to his music for an hours set. and why would you want to drop poison dart with the bass taken out..

You can surely see why people stick up for him though?

The bugs sets are more like a "show" like I swear I mention this everytime hes spoke of but I saw him in koko and it was like world war 3 or something. Mental sirens, Bass pulled out for half of posion dart then smashed back in at over 100%, Its mad as fuck but its def not a set you can dance too haha

I'd write better english but it was a big night and i just woke up.....i understand he's trying to do something different, i would assume that in all this time he's been making music he probably learnt to mix 2 songs together, but frankly it wasn't for me the tunes were a hype but he deaded the momentum

You see, thats the issue people have.. comments like that. The Bug (afaik) has never mixed, or at least he hasn't in a long time. Your disappointment of his lack of mixing is because you were under the false impression he did mix. Thats not his fault lol.

Its like someone being annoyed that Aba-Shanti never learnt to mix and turned up with one deck and talk in between songs.

Or if someone was disappointed by the lack of live instruments at a Youngsta set.

Again, you're entitled to not enjoy that type of set.. when I've seen him its either been riddled with problems or the constant rewinds were harsh as fuck on the ears. But to blame the lack of mixing is your own fault for not knowing what The Bug does live.

my point was more that i don't think he's incompetent but that it's just not for me.
"not knowing what the bug does live" doesn't mean that i don't know if i'm enjoying it when i experience it.

but whatever we disagree it's not like i'm gonna go snap my copy of poison dart in half, it is an impressive experience and i can understand if other people rate it

^ yeah thats fair enough. Of course you can not enjoy it I was just pointing out that blaming it on his lack of mixing isn't his fault.

Bug DJ set would be sick.

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
