TBH the Max Out EP was filled with good sound design and production, their Bristolian roots definitely had an impact on their tunes.CreamLord wrote:

Yeh, N-Type was feeling his tunes I guess. Even included a couple of Flux's tunes in his Rinse CD Mix.CreamLord wrote:That got released on wheel and deal didn't it?
Also that Bad DJ tune sounds like an old tear-out'ish Skream tune

Re: Brostep III - ßroClub
Flux was nice couple of years ago when all the midrange stuff was still pretty new. I think he hasn't evolved much from that.
Re: Brostep III - ßroClub
That's the thing, even his 'decent' tunes sound like generic tearout, though I may be looking at it through 2014 glasses.

heard bass cannon in a bar a few days ago.
is brostep still a thing?
is brostep still a thing?
Re: Brostep III - ßroClub
half of tearout artists are making trap these days and some switched to house, some are still brostep, but i think the scene is pretty dead. I don't know what's happening in rest of the world but over here you go to bar and you hear only trap and bigroom + some pop songs.ultraspatial wrote:heard bass cannon in a bar a few days ago.

you're going to the wrong bars...
we had caribou and jessy lanza last month, robert hood and marcellus pittman (detroit) coming up, gonna have âme and falty DL next month plus groundwire birthday bash with tes la rok, las, mikael... throw in the occasional signal life nights plus random visits by oneman etc... there's definitely stuff going on here, even though the legendary slam it parties are not being organized anymore.
and even if you're talking about a regular night, places like m-bar, kaiku and pacifico usually have good music on

Re: Brostep III - ßroClub
maybe funtcase in this thread is cheating but this tune is big

Re: Brostep III - ßroClub
It seems so, because only one of the bars you mentioned above rings any bells and that's the m-bar.topmo3 wrote:you're going to the wrong bars..._Agu_ wrote:Helsinki, Finland

In my opinion it is, but 90% of the forum members would say that this is "horrible midrange shit that hurts your ears, so take your pickHarkat wrote:maybe funtcase in this thread is cheating

I'm still a huge sucker for Mattress Punch. Gotta buy it on wax so I can play it at the end of mixing sessions when I'm drunkHarkat wrote:maybe funtcase in this thread is cheating but this tune is big
