weedcali - Damn, I like where this is going. Love the atmosphere. At 1:20 you had me hooked. All the sounds are dope. I would work on the kick and make it punchier for the main parts of the song. I think the drops will stand out a bit more and it will give the song a heavier feel.
bryan42690 - The levels sound good. I'm not really sold on some of the synths/samples you are using. The stuff that comes on after 1:00 sounds kinda crude. All of your pads n atmospheric sounds are tight though. The composition could use a bit of work. Progressions don't sound natural if all you are doing is adding more sounds to the mix. What you have to do is make a progression within the sound you are actually using. Either by doing it through composing a melody, relying on rhythm or things like pitch, cutoff and effects automations. Automation is a must!!!!!!!
Hero - Continue what you are doing! Your composition is spot on. Just gotta train your ear more to get those sounds proper. Like one of the comments said, I recommend the same, step up your synthesis and you're set! Get into resampling and wavetable synthesis if you haven't already.
BudSpencertron -
schnurrbacka - Sounds loud, balanced n heavy. Good stuff. The only recommendation I can make is to duplicate the synth you are using and play around with the ADSR envelope to get the 1/2 1/4 and 1/8 wobs to match with key presses. If you ever want to break up the pace and give the song a bit of breathing room you can use these.
brummelbart blume - I like the atmosphere in the track. The drums are sounding clean dude, sick percs!
Mr. Aural - Clean sine sub bass with a bit of slide. Turn snare down and layer it with a another snare that complements it well. Chill TUNE!!!!
jetpack - Its a good tune, but its missing something. Maybe that's why you're not sure whether to scrap it or not. Cant really recommend much as it would tweak the vibe of the song. Maybe recompose it? This is tuff one for me, sorry bro!
hudson - Definitely capturing that dubstep sound. Love the vibe. I would recommend breaking up the drum pattern sometimes. Make it progress through 16 bars. Maybe have some extended parts with just Kick, Snare (on beat) to give it that original heavy feel. Otherwise just get deeper into synthesis and train your ear. Creating nice dirty n heavy synths that sound clean and dont carry nasty artifacts takes a lot of work and thats the only way to make your tracks sound LOOUUDDD!!!
Here is my WIP. Any recommendations?
