Re: Gear lust
I forgot these little things are multi-timbral.
Re: Gear lust
Holy shit, is that really a CZ-101 being controlled?
Re: Gear lust
So bad ass. Must have...
Re: Gear lust
My CZ-101 has been sitting in a corner for years. Must revisit.
Interestingly enough, back in the day before there were an abundance of small, portable midi controllers, I used to take my CZ-101 out to live gigs because it was the smallest keyboard that I had with midi functionality. I would use it to control my sampler.

Re: Gear lust
Yo Fragments, got that Zip Disk in the mail the other day. Thanks bro!
Re: Gear lust
Haha. Shit man. I apologize. That completely slipped my mind.nowaysj wrote:Yo Fragments, got that Zip Disk in the mail the other day. Thanks bro!
If you aren't being delightfully snarky, we better call X Files...
EDIT: I just emailed my pops about it.

I am the worst kind of constant setup changing gear whore...but I have to say I'm really happy with my setup being just a Mopho Keys and the UltraNova and a few solid FX units and a few compressors.

Haha, just fuxing with you!
Dude, if you find the setup, KEEP IT. I think it is like bitches. Just go through them one after the other, until you find THE ONE. Then you breed like crazy!

Was it an SCSI Zip Drive you were looking for?

Re: Gear lust
I want to say these are serial, but I'll check when I'm over at the house next (I swear).nowaysj wrote:Usb or Scsi? Need both! Need MANY!

Re: Gear lust
Jesus...I've gone from almost buying an El Capistan...to almost buying a Red Panda Particle... to a MicroGranny...now to a Korg Sample...
I need to finish a project before I buy anything. That's a good deal with myself.

If you've got everything you need to do the project, yeah.

Re: Gear lust
Strymon pedals are the shit. Got a Deco a few months back and absolutely love it.
Re: Gear lust
Lol. Yea. I need not buy anything. Taming these two hardware synths is like breaking wild mustangs. Then I feed them to the OTO Biscuitnowaysj wrote:If you've got everything you need to do the project, yeah.
@knobgoblin: yea...Deco sounds awesome too from what I've heard...I'd love to have an El Cap and a Deco at some point. I'm also somewhat attracted to the OTO Bim, though I feel like its a tad pricey for what you get.
I have to say though...for me...less is more in the studio. Also, I've found, kinda of deciding on a routing setup for a project is really useful...like I use this FX on this piece of gear or I don't use it. I know I could just take notes...but there is something about walking in, flipping on the hardware and getting to noodling while the computer loads my DAW...

Re: Gear lust
But doesn't the patchbay make it extremely easy to just fly fx in?
I feel what you're saying though.
