holy christ. I've been on a two week break and tonight killed me. Only got abs, arms, and chest (was going after full body) worked before I nearly collapsed with no energy. Going to be one sore motherfucker tomorrow.

Yea, I hate that. That's why I rarely take breaks away.

Also, I can't believe how much strength you can lose in a two week period. Maybe it's all in my head but I swear it takes at least a month to get back to where I was after a couple of weeks off.

I was going heavy on my preacher/cable curls yesterday and now my tendinitis has flared up again.

When I first started working out, I'd usually get pain in my muscles I'd worked for a few days. Now it's a slight pain for a day or two, is that cause my bodies getting used to it now? Also does it mean I might need to train harder?

Sounds about right, you see bigger results from compound motions because multiple muscles are being used and trained, bicep curls is just one muscle, (isolation is a waste IMO)

seriously if you guys want arms do some laps in the pool. your arms and shoulders will get huge but not too huge. Sexy huge. And cut too. Drool.

In other news, I've put on 8 pounds since college started, but I have gone to the gym 5-6 days a week every week I've been here. so I can't actually tell if it's muscle weight or fat weight. I look the same in the mirror.

Broke my finger doing fucking depth jumps yesterday :| Clipped the box on the way down ffs. Now have to go and demonstrate cornerback and wide receiver play all day at a rookie session.
