Re: First World Problems
I wish I could be bothered with that, but Tesco is a 30 second walk away from the office...

Re: First World Problems
Fair enough, I did spend a couple of hours yesterday doing cooking and food prep for these weeks lunches. Roast chicken, vegetables, pork tenderloin steaks, big fuck off pasta salad etc.southstar wrote:I wish I could be bothered with that, but Tesco is a 30 second walk away from the office...

I'm so glad they included a section on "How to stay safe in the sun". Some really groundbreaking stuff in there.kidshuffle wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23313525

Fuck sake! I wonder how countries that are closer to the equator than us cope, I bet they must have to stop functioning right?

Re: First World Problems
lol it's about that hot at night here in Mexico, went to some open air bar the other night and nearly passed out from the heat, maybe coming in July wasn't the wisest move tbhkidshuffle wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23313525

Re: First World Problems
Well that would be down to them being acclimatised , having infrastructure/public transportation with universal air conditioning and building stuff that take into account the near constant high temps.skimpi wrote:Fuck sake! Singapore for example has no seasons, its either really fucking hot or really hot and rainy so they are used to that but they would be proper fucked if it decided to drop to below freezing as they are not setup for that kind of situation. We have retarded fluctuating weather which is why we get screwed over so much.
Re: First World Problems
What with our undecided little-bit warm, little-bit bit cool, little-lot damp climate making us the perfect site to make the transition from agriculture to industry without dying of heat exhaustion in the (still) unairconditioned Tube network this can be deemed the very definition of a First World Problem.Johnlenham wrote:Well that would be down to them being acclimatised , having infrastructure/public transportation with universal air conditioning and building stuff that take into account the near constant high temps.skimpi wrote:Fuck sake! We need a 3rd world problems thread.
My uncapped ADSL is being installed tomorrow.

You don't get more 3rd world than that.
