From top to bottom. Yamaha A3000 sampler. No longer used. Yamaha EX5R used sometimes. It's well good. Navation KS rack. Serious bizz for bass and you can automate all of the controls..

lol nah i have to sit on my desk chair.. if you look closely, the decks etc are rested on a bookshelf on it's side, with vinyl instead of books (clever eh)
used to mix on my knees till my mum decided to install a patio on my bedroom floor

I'm using this as my controller keyboard
and filling in the riddims with this
and then chuck it through this for good measure
Knowing your equipment's the most important thing, but obviously with a setup like this, tunes more or less write themselves.

Nice Shonky.
I was looking at the Star Party Duo Mix until I read some guy going off on the Sound On Sound forum about how the frequency response wasn't strictly linear. Dunno, kind of put me off.

SOS are fuckin amateurs - just cause they've got a glossy magazine, don't be fooled by their "knowledge". You don't even get a free DVD with it - I'd ignore them if I were you.
I've heard that Diddy refuses to use anything but the Star Party Duo Mix and he's been in the charts, so that proves it.
