This is probably my favorite tune in the genre.
But it got me thinking about Fat Freddy's Drop and Warren Maxwell who played sax on the "based on a true story" album the original cay's crays is from. His other band which he fronts, Trinity Roots, has an album entitled "Home, Land and Sea" which pretty much symbolizes everything heartfelt about NZ in musical format. Check some of these tunes if you are interested.
I couldn't find any of their upbeat stuff like "the dream" or "touches me" on youtube. Ahh well.

Yeah bro, nice bump, big tune, rinse the hell out of this tune every now and again. Fat freddys, Salmonella Dub, Tiki (not his new album haha) and Trinity all hold a special place for me. Bare NZ vibes!

Think I heard it once or twice too. Such an untoucheable track. When it started raining on Sunday I thought of that vocal immediately.AJP UK wrote:remember one point this being played on the beach at outlook, in the middle of sorting out my tent and such before hearing the vocals coming in; stopped everything and went to join the 5 other people on the beach. only heard it that once. mesmerising tune from day.
