Dave's and may Anne's mix were so flat ! maybe you had a great time behind the turntables, with the feedback monitors, but for us, in the crowd... !
sorry about this. most of the crew go out in the main room all through the night to check on the sound ourselves. if we had heard constant issues with the sound, then we would've corrected things immediately. i was out on the floor for a good part of mary's set, and it wasn't flat to my ears. we do soundchecks before doors at every dub war. sure, there's technicals that happen. its the nature of the beast when you're dealing with a system driven by 15 amplifiers, and stacks of speakers. feedback, in some respects is happening all the time. its just a matter of wrestling it back under control, while making it loud enough for the love experience. if anyone else thought the sound was an issue, please speak up. thanks.

yes the sound was lower this time around for reasons that involve bacon, nightlife watch etc... the trade off was WE WENT TIL 5AM!!!
I heard someone else complain that the sound was too low but I have no complaints. I like walking out of a club without my ears ringing. Besides, when I went to Le Poisson Rouge the next night, I immediately noticed the difference in quality. Love is the only club I regularly attend and now I realize how spoiled I am. By the way, it was a great night.

Ya, I thought the sound was pretty solid, though it was my first time at club love. Definately better than the sound at LPR over the weekend for skream+benga.

Everyone killed it. Only gripe was Juakali. Don't mind rappin over dubstep beats, but I do mind just filling the air with your voice (how many times did he let us know that pinch, mary anne hobbs, and joe nice were in the building -- I KNOW, THATS WHY I CAME!!)

Anyway, I will make it a point to see Joe Nice whenever he's in the New York or (hint hint) BOSTON area. BTW joe nice, nice headphones, I love my Sennheisers!

He's just hyping the crowd. That's what MC's are supposed to do at these gigs, no?
