Re: Bilding a own Studio
Nice work!
Does the 7500 include the price for the stable?
What was the most expensive part of the build (minus the stable)
Did it cost what you thought it would? (did you go over, under budget?)
If you could do this again what would you do different? what advice would you give to anyone wanting to build their own studio?

The stable is in rent for 200 £ a month
Basicly our budget was 10 000 chf. so now we are 5000 chf over the plans. but we bought in this time allso cubase 5 new interfaces and a brand new studio pc.
i would say it's ok. we was 10 people working on this. so it's not that expensive.
it's our third studio we bild, in the last 10 years, so we have a bit experience, i would say, we made many things better than in the last fiew.
my tips for somone who wanna make it: never hurry! put all cables in tubes (if one's gona break you can change it), better giv more money for good material, than to buy the cheepest. Isolate it good so you have not that problems for to warm it, also it's usefull for the noise you make in your studio, your neighborus shouldn't hear you.
and the last: if you can, buy this stable, or if you have a own doo it in it!! it's worth it!
Re: Bilding a own Studio
sooooo, now i continue
As the roof was repaired, we started to bild the hangign corner, and the gallery:

even thwe furniture is a self made product and to bee honest, we had help from my cousin which is joiner. The matressis and the pillows where all made by the girlfriend of this guy you saw before building the wall
The laminate is the same as in the studio only the table is al old thing from another friend which givted it.

the gallery you ve senn in the first secound pictures, we sliffered and made it fit. the wood is allso painted in mahagoni - looks great or init?

we covered the stairs whit the same carpet as the bandroom, so the wrhole thing gets more dynamic

Now THAT'S what I call dedication. You and your bros should be proud, looks like a great place to chill out, party, and make music.

Nice work and thanks for the thread!
I am a bit worried about the framing of those stairs though.
It's not a conventional method you have used to construct them.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.
