Sometimes when I sweat..my underarms smell like maple syrup..

Aha, humans can detect all kinds of shit from sweat. Women's menstrual cycles can synch up to some other random birds just by smelling the sweat daily. It's probably more complex than that, but I remember reading a few psychology/physiology studies on it a few years ago
