Re: KRK's or Beyer's
Does anyone know if the KRK R6 G2 actives are the same as the passives but but with their own power?
Also, if I get the actives will I'm presuming that I'll no longer need an amp, am I right? If so how will they connect to my Audio 8 soundcard?

Yeah, no amp required! And they connect via RCA.AnalGangstaHo wrote: Also, if I get the actives will I'm presuming that I'll no longer need an amp, am I right? If so how will they connect to my Audio 8 soundcard?

I have the 5's and I had to get a sub to get any idea about sub freq's. I was loath to spend more money, but I just couldn't hear anything down there.

yea they are i use the rp6 g1 cl special editions (aka older than g2, but no yellow woofer heh)AnalGangstaHo wrote:Does anyone know if the KRK R6 G2 actives are the same as the passives but but with their own power?

and as far as the sale on krks i can say the last 3 months they have had specials in my shop on pairs and individual that come and go and gen around holiday time they have the same sale and also some sort of special edition for a few months on sale as well (anyone remember those all yellow ones from last year ick)
also on the backend my direct to manufacture sale price right now on the 5/6/8 is nuts and has been last couple months, so i'm guessing if a shitload of people don't snag a pair of rp5 g2 for 100$ a pair then they'll be on sale soon enough
Re: KRK's or Beyer's
