Yeh, I recognise Beans OBe but no other names. so it really is a whole new album to me.
Its a very nice album, good lively beats and crazy lyrics all over the place. Not what i was expecting for some reason, thought it would be more "boom bap" or something. going on the era and style of the cover, name etc.
A good listen for now and again, i can't fault it.
Do you have anything to do with the group/lable by any chance?

No I don't.
I just love the album to bits.
The song "Another Price To Pay" is just absolutely amazing to me. I think it's sublime.
The scratching is friggin killer too. Sir Beans OBE is definately the man.
This album definately takes a few spins for it to really sink in...........play "Another Price To Pay" at a rather loud volume later tonight after a few drinks and puffs!
Pick up Skitz "Countryman" if you haven't got it mate. That's the cream of the crop with regards to British emcees.

Ahh, i got a bargain on that record. £10 when a shop first opened in 2005ish and the owner was trying to jump start it by selling cheap his personal collection....i did feel slightly bad and become a heavy customer.
Its worth it for "twilight" and "fingerprints". in fact each side of the LP could be a highly regarded EP separately.
Ive got a feeling i could get myself in an ecstatic mood if i botherd to dig through my old records...
I take it you where/are into the same type of stuff before dubstep?
Edit: finding that LP for cheap then was tough, just checked discogs and the prices are low..
Re: decent ukhiphop
buggering tindersticks, Skitz - Countryman used to regularly go for £40+ on vinyl... i paid £20 for it and thought i did well.... but just checked Discogs... £14... in-bloody-sane.

if you have an eardrum, youd be fool not to get it.

Scary innit, i don't wanna look up the current worth of many more records or i might be able to fit some large purchases in the difference.
good news for anyone who wants to buy it though, its age-less.
