yea the pad and kontrol are both solid especially for the costcloak and dagger wrote:wormcode wrote:The Nano-products like Nanopad and Nanokontrol are pretty shitty. Save up and get something better. I would take a old cheap casio keyboard as a midi controller over a korg nano one. The Nanokontrol is like a toy that doesn't work right. All the buttons get pressed if you press 1 too hard, and they like to get stuck too. They remind me of something that would come with a video game like DJ Hero or something..
What about the Nanopad do you think is shitty?

Yeah I guess for the cost there's not a lot of room to complain, especially now that there's some on ebay almost half the price.. but I was still dissapointed. I found the Pad not responsive enough, and there was a delay I noticed. I didn't use it much though, but I am pretty spoiled from the MPC. Also the MIDI problem, if you change something in your DAW, the values don't get changed on the nano. I was trying to figure out if there was a bug or software updates and came across this video which shows a couple of things I mean. I guess you can't expect anything amazing for so cheap though, I just had really high hopes:
That button stick thing got on my nerves so bad, I thought I had a defective one until he mentioned it.
